Xalatan

I was on Xalatan for 9 years without any problems, but my ophthalmologist changed me to Simbrinza 2 months ago hoping my eye pressure would not increase so rapidly after an eye injection.

Dr gave me brimonidine, I also use cosopt and xalatan on that eye. I had dry eyes also and in Montenegro we don’t have PF drops for glaucoma. Dr told me if pressure don’t came down we will repeat iridiotomy. If that fail to, we will do lens extraction.

Have been told there is a possibility that taking Xalatan drops could be connected. Wondered if anyone else has this condition and any talk of these drops being linked to it? Thanks.

One of sideeffect of xalatan and cosopt is itchy skin and rush, does anyone experience something similar! Thank you all!

I was put on steroids for an infection I had which raised pressure too much so now specialist has put me on diamond pills and alphagan drops including drops I’m already taking brinzoquon & xalatan .I have to go back next week for more pressure check and potentially emergency surgery if eyes do not go

Had xalacom and xalatan for years, no problem. Then changed several times and ended up with cosopt and monopost. Eyes became swollen, red itchy. Changed to preservative free with the same reaction. Have retried most of the others with the same result.

I am currently on simbrinza and xalatan on this eye and not coping well with the simbrinza Pls advise. Glaucoma is really a traumatic disease. Taken so much quality of my life!! I pray scientist find a cure for it soon.

Then retinal detachments both eyes and artisan lens & more recently (for 18 months) being treated for recurring cystoid macular edema in L eye, which has reduced my IOP’s to 14 & 15 using Azarga and Xalatan drops since Xmas. IOP’s were previously not under control 27 & 26.
