Honey and water - Is it really all that good?
He found that the honey water solution was far superior in treating
wounds
, though he probably did not know why.

Why are women still being treated with diathermy when it does not work?
We've all heard about excision - why is this not widely available yet? Im hearing women going a good few years between surgeries. I had surgery in june 2010, again in feb 2011 and now facing another op - which will make 3 in 18 months! I have refused as diathermy is leaving me riddled with adhesions

Laparoscopy recovery...
I've just taken the dressings off and while two of the
wounds
are fine and recovering well I've noticed the one in my belly button is a little red, it's also a little sore and weeping a little. I realise this might mean it is infected but maybe its normal for the belly button wound to do this ??

Maimie's Blog - Festive Cookie Cutter of Great Britain
Interestingly, this cookie cutter is missing Northern Ireland and we are planning to add NI to our arsenal next year . This means I’ll need a new shape for December 2012’s gingerbread-making factory that my kitchen usually becomes (not always with gloriously successful results: always edible, not always

My first Lap - Or not.
I felt my tummy and felt no
wounds
or dressings. I knew I wasn't pregnant, and had passed all the required tests so of course, I immediately think the only explanation is some form of complication.

Are any members with WG ANCA negative ?
i was diagnosed with WG 13 years ago and have always remained ANCA negative. My saddle nose deformity and nasal biopsy confirmed WG. I wondered how many other members are also ANCA negative. Because of this it can be difficult to monitor my condition. Thankfully Dr Jayne at Addenbrookes always listens
