Test Results Back
Hi, I got my test results back. Impressed with the speed of Monitor My Health! I’ll post them below. Can you advise what they mean and what I should do going forward? Edited to add: test done at 9am. No food or drink between waking and doing the test. Last levo thyroxine dose (150mcg) was more than

Update after GP call
Had my call with the GP that I mentioned in my last posts. That was a bit of a disaster, although not as bad as it could have been. She did not read my notes or blood test results before the call. She asked me about symptoms, but was only concerned about weight gain and dry skin. I had already gone

Eating after Levo/t3
just wondering if anyone finds they need to wait longer than an hour before eating and having caffeine? I wait an hour but sometimes I feel I’m not getting the full dose. I do have reflux. Took my drugs at 5am and at 10am, my heart rate was 60 and I was feeling very cold. My most recent test shows my

Success with GP - for now
Just had an appointment with my GP and after lots of persuasion and me quoting NICE guidelines at him, he's agreed to reinstate my previous daily 100mcg Levo. 🥳This does come with the condition of reassessing in 6-8 weeks after bloods done. (I'll cross that bridge when I get there) I got the usual

Inflammatory Arthritis with Levothyroxine
Has anyone else had severe pains in their tendons and muscles due to Levothyroxine? 18 years ago I had an ESR blood test at my G.P.'s surgery as I had severe pains on Levothyroxine, this proved I had Inflammatory Arthritis, so I bought Armour Thyroid from the US as the only alternative at that time.

Update to last post: What does T4 do?
Hi Thanks for all the help when I asked the question about T4, while prepping for my appointment. The appointment went well, I got a GP with ears! GP wanted to discuss the last endo letter saying that I can't have T4 increase unless I agree to give up my "self medicating habit." I explained that I

Hypo energy 'crashes' on a daily basis?
I am currently taking 125 mcg Levo and 10mcg T3 daily. I take the meds together around 2pm. Having finally got relief from so many symptoms (eg fatigue, muscle pains, zombie brain, low mood etc) recently, I am experiencing almost daily energy 'crashes'. They are quite overwhelming. I get a headache

T4/T3 Combi Overmedicated Help Please
I posted yesterday about my recent feelings of overmedication but didnt get many replies. Its just symptoms, not blood tests, but had palpitations, fatigue, fast heart beat, shortness of breath. Was on 150mcg Levo and 12.5 T3 daily. Also added daily selenium which might have complicated things. Cut

Being blind sided by levothyroxine
I was on levothyroxine for 15 years and now have high a1c. I'm currently coming off the levo cold turkey in hopes this new tragedy can be reversed or stopped. Just putting this out there for people on high doses to make sure they are having their blood sugars monitored as well as thyroid. I recently
