Ectopic Beats
I have had ectopic beats for some years but it was always infrequently. I recently started getting them more often and had a 24 hour holter monitor. I was told there were isolated PAC and PVCs totalling 50 in 24 hour period. They are now happening much more frequently I would say every 2/3 minutes

Anyone with heart scar tissue?
I found out I had some scar tissue after a heart MRI following a sustained
ventricular
tachycardia
cardiac arrest in 2021, I am on beta blocker sotalol 80mg twice a day. I would be curious to know if there are others in a similar situation and what do they do to stay healthy .

Afib induced syncope update from #chinkoflight
It has helped enormously to focus my mind on what might be in front of me.I have seen the Cardio now, who has confirmed I had a significant blackout as a consequence of a
tachycardia
event probably associated with some left
ventricular
issues.

Ectopics on holiday
Hello my lovely support group ! Can I ask for reassurance please ? I am in Spain with my family, and although I got through all the getting here ( I’m very nervous of flying ) and it all took a lot if arranging because there are 10 of us, I have only had a very brief episode of Afib. My Afib has actually

bisoprolol giving anxiety attacks
Hello everyone! i started taking bisoprolol for pvc’s 2 years ago. But now i have a feeling I’ve become intolerant to it. I’ve been waking up nauseous, anxious and constantly getting adrenaline rushes. I tried stopping and i felt good, but on the 3rd day i got another panic attack probably a withdrawal

Managing PVCs
Hi Three years ago I had an ablation for my long standing PAF. Touch wood, I’ve not had a full blown episode since. However over the last 12 months I have been getting an increasing amount of PVC episodes. These often last for two to three days and are really debilitating. Sleep is almost impossible

New Here — Most Recent Arrhythmia
There were occasional PVCs, one 5 beat run of non sustained
ventricular
tachycardia
. There were several brief runs of non sustained accelerated idioventricular rhythm at a rate of 75 bpm. One such run lasted 22 seconds and was not associated with symptoms. So….here’s my dilemma.

Palpitations
I know about the risks of stroke when you have Afib, and I take Warfarin, but just out of interest, do ordinary palpitations, like PVCs and SVEs also present a risk ? Annie

Over the intervening years I have had a number of brief episodes of non-sustained

Was wondering does anyone feel sort of lightheaded and sort of generally feeling off after a missed beat the heart episode is very fast but the strange off feeling does hang around for quite a while afterwards. All I want to do is lie down really which obviously not always possible. I do take flecainde

Wide QRS interval
I saw a consultant last week as a follow-up to a bypass nearly six months ago and to discuss how I was getting on with bisoprolol after a switch from Sotalol. I haven’t had any AF since bisoprolol was increased to 10mg but I had some quite fast AF in December prior to that. I still get a lot of PVCs

So now I'm a bit scared.
I sent it to Kardia clinician review, and they said it was
ventricular
tachycardia
. The sort of rhythm that when sustained can lead to
ventricular
fibrillation and possible cardiac arrest.

Premature ventricle contractions
For about two weeks my kardia ecg is showing PVC's most of the time, I don't know how reliable these gadgets are but tried to make appointment with GP, as they have taken ecgs before but receptionist said I should go to A&E but I feel fine and feel that would be a waste of A&E time. Anybody else have

Clinical Physiologist
Please can any of you explain to me what exactly is a Clinical Physiologist ? I usually see my cardiologist once a year, along with a routine echocardiogram and ecg. This year, I saw my GP because I have been getting a lot of palpitations which Kardia diagnose as PVCs and SVEs ) He said he would contact

Now what?
After the initial shock and a good bit of anger at my primary care doc, I did a bit of reading and now I'm wondering if prednisone played a part in this.A month or so ago, wearing a holter monitor for two weeks uncovered paroxsymal
ventricular
tachycardia
and I then saw a cardiologist who seems to think
