Kardia Readings - feels like Bingo!
I was given a Kardia device to take my own ECG readings just over a week ago to see if I could capture any of the episodes. Since starting this, I’ve recorded a number of different things as follows: - wide QRS complex x 3 - atrial fibrillation x 18 - PVCs (premature ventricular contractions) x 4

What is the difference between palpitations, ectopic beats, PVCs, SVTs, VTs?
Good evening. I’ve noticed that there are a lot of questions around palpitations on this forum, and I too have them myself; however, not medically treated for them. Sometimes I experience these with pain (with a constriction type of feeling) and sometimes I experience them without pain. I’ve noticed

Can this be the answer to ectopic heartbeats that are worrying everybody? (And other heart issues possibly please read!)
I've just had a total hip replacement which has also put my back straight as our musculoskeletal system works on integrity as s system of course. Now....wait for it..I have not suffered ANY PVC / ectopic since the operation which was over a week ago. Please read this article...it could potentially

How to talk so my consultant will listen - advice please 🙏
Since my diagnosis, I’ve had ongoing cardiac symptoms but they seem to have grown in frequency since mid January. I have had a couple of reviews with my GP and the decision was taken to stop my dapagliflozin - fine. Additionally, my presyncope symptoms have been getting worse and it’s now been recommended

What is wrong with these drs?
Still doing great on Sotalol, so thankful for my new EP. I went to a new primary care last week, and we discussed my AF briefly. He said "why aren't you on anticoagulants?" "My EP said I don't need it at my age and with how little I get AF." He then brought it up again a short time later, "you might

Ablation success
Hi all! I was wondering if there are any long time ablation success stories out there ? I had PAF, had a 4 vessel PVI cryoablation in Mach of 2018 and am off all meds and Noacs. Besides a few episodes that last 2-5 seconds or an occassional PVC, I am doing great. Anyone else out there with a success

Has anyone had their Cardiac Recovery Rate drop, shortly after starting Nubeqa/daro or another kind of 2nd line AR?

PVC's anyone?...
Hi all, after OH surgery in November and a few problems with Afib after, I have been doing fine until Monday when I felt odd palpitations and felt usual light headed and out of sorts. I thought it would be AFib again but on checking on the Kardiamobile it showed as Premature Ventricular Contractions

AF or PVCS ablation
I have had a high burden of palpitations since my covid booster in September 2022. In February had 48 and 7 days Holter which both showed 11% PVCs plus bigemeny and trigemeny. My Apple Watch showed only SVT not PVCs. I had nhs appointment with EP and he advised ablation and promised to do AF and PVCS

Ectopics
I've had no Afib as such for a couple of years but do get quite a lot of ectopics which generally don't bother me apart from being a bit tired occasionally. I've read on here that a number of people have seen improvement with SVCs and PVCs after starting on flecanide. I'm reluctant to take any more meds

Re my post : Forgotten drugs and palpitations…..
I posted about having lots of SVEs and PVCs in the last couple of days, confirmed on Kardia. While I have been sat here moping - 🙄 - I have realised that a couple of weeks ago I started using my Kardia holding one of the sensors just above my knee. This is shown in the original instructions as an alternative

Forgotten drugs, as well as palpitations…..
I’ve had daily Afib episodes lately, but they have not been severe. I was thinking I would let my GP know, and then 9 days ago they stopped ( had one yesterday ) and have been replaced by PVCs and SVEs. These feel like they are all the time , although calmer in the night and I am sleeping. All this

General Anaesthetic with 5%pvcs?
I do not have any medication and am generally very healthy. However, I have 5% pvcs and have elective surgery planned. Would these pvcs (normal echocardiogram and no cardiomyopathy) mean they could cancel my operation?

Anyone get extra beats(not skipped) with pain, when underslept or stressed?
I get them, more and more now However there are days when I don't get 1 Today I had 5 I guess if you have less than 10% of the overall heart beats as ectopics or PVCS, then that's benign I know people who have 10,000/20,000 a day and they are still okay Mine get painful(at the extra beat

Update 7.5
I completed the series of cardiac tests. The results all look good. Calcium Cardiac Score = 0 (no buildup) Echocardiogram = No issues. Ejection fraction =72% (high functioning). Cardiac Stress Test = No issues. Rare Premature Ventricular Contractions noted. Heart monitor = Several incidents

My 40 day post-ablation update
I've replied to a few posts here but think this might be my first post. 40 days ago I a cryoballoon ablation for paroxysmal AFib. Afterwards the EP told me I had 5 pulmonary veins and he estimated 80% chance of remission with first procedure. Since then: - I've only had AFib for 1 hour about 10 days

ectopic beats
hi I’m 18 years old and I have always been in perfect health until around 2 years ago when I got covid for the first time, around 7-8 months after having covid i started experiencing rapid heart rate upon standing and suspect I have POTS but my beta blockers help massively in keeping my heart rate down

vagal AF
I am certain that my AF is vagal by nature as I notice PVCs particularly when I have indigestion and bloating. Has anyone with a similar profile found ways to calm the excited vagal nerve and thereby reduced symptoms? It's well over a year since I had an episode of full on AF lasting about 30 minutes
