Asthma attack recovery help
Ventolin
regularly. It's not been this bad since I was a child. I'm mid 40s now not overweight. I'm very allergic - dogs/cats but manage this with antihistamine. Usually fit and active. I guess i'm looking for reassurance as am a little scared. Has anyone else experienced this?

Anyone had their Clenil dose increased?
My peak flow is very slightly above my yellow zone but seems stable, but I’ve had to use my
ventolin
yesterday due to the cold weather on top of this virus making me cough horrendously, and this afternoon I’ve had to use it as I felt a little out of breath and my peak flow dropped into the top of my

New inhaler dispenser. Bit annoyed.
I picked up two new cannisters of salbutamol, except the pharmacist gave me salamol easi-breathe instead of normal metered dose
ventolin
. I wouldn't mind except I didn't realise what it was until I got home. I'm no good at taking MDI without a spacer (always but especially in an attacj) or DPI.

Clenil replaced with Symbicort lower dose
I’ve been on Clenil (200x4) since September last year with
Ventolin
. My initial asthma symptoms came out of a chest infection. I’ve just caught another chest infection so went to doctor to ask about management. I’d been taking way too much
Ventolin
and hadn’t found Clenil that effective.

Is there nothing my lungs won’t complain about?! 😒😅
Rescued it with
ventolin
, but really lungs! I know it’s early and your tired, but we all have things we have to do but don’t like doing! 😂 Has anyone else found that an change in morning routine has changed your lung response?

Alternatives to Prednisolone?
I take my inhalers as prescribed (Fostair,
Ventolin
), X-ray and CT scan (all clear), and am due to visit the GP this week. I've been told at a recent hospital visit that I need to go back on Prednisolone.

Taking more
Ventolin
to breathe day and night when asthma, it gives me palpitations but helps. 11. drinking black coffee to keep off fatigue when I have things to do and taking 1g of paracetamol 2 to 3 times a day for pain 12.

Colomycin side effects?
I’ve also noticed tighter lungs around mid afternoon so am using
ventolin
more. If I stop the colomycin things seem to improve but when I go back on i’m Ok for a few days then the symptoms seem to start up again.

Nebulisers
I started with my home nebulisers yesterday, budesonide and
ventolin
nebules. Since starting I have felt quite nauseous is this normal. My consultant decided to cut short my 6 week preds course as they weren’t helping, so I’m pleased to be off those but now just feel really sick.

Prescriptions & charges
Hi All I have mild COPD (coupled with adult onset asthma) and am on Clenil 100 brown inhalers 2 puffs, morning and night and
ventolin
before I run. All these cost a considerable amount of money when you add it all up.

Salbutamol/ventolin asthma
I think doses/puffs can be confusing as it depends on what strength we are discussing
Ventolin
/Salbutamol (blue inhaler). I take a 200 microgram Salbutamol turbohaler. Even having asthma in the family it took me 4 years from my first asthma attack at 15 until I was finally diagnosed at 19.
