Sudden asthma attack
For a moment I thought I would end up needing help, but 7 puffs of
Ventolin
later it started to lift and I became a bit more human again. Since then I couldn’t wait to get to bed due to exhaustion. /This is a new experience for me, so sudden and so significant. I can’t say I liked it!

Quick question
I also have
ventolin
as needed. 1. My evening dose of Fostair isn’t due for an hour (I try to take it about 12 hours apart) but I’ve been dry coughing a little for about an hour so could I take the evening dose now - 2 puffs? 2. Could the start of coughing be a sign that my inhaler is due?

Asthma Flare-Up
Chest has been tight and
Ventolin
relieves it but then wears off. Have managed to get an Appointment with my Asthma Nurse tomorrow. She did mention on the previous Phonecall that they would possibly prescribe Antibiotics or Steroids.

Inhalers
So I was using the
ventolin
more than a few times a week. I feel however that I’m generally less short of breath on exertion and that this coughing blip has started more with the cold weather, and possibly mold in the house.

Finishing pred
Am using
ventolin
every 4 hours as instructed but it’s not really lasting so am just managing things by staying still a lot. PF is just under 80% of best but doesn’t usually drop a lot unless I have a chest infection. At what point should I speak to my GP again?

How do I know which came first?
Is it possible to get some private advice and in the meantime if I tried someone else's
Ventolin
inhaler would that be safe to do? If you got this far, thanks. I'm hoping somebody may be able to reassure me or at least make me feel like I haven't lost the plot.

Why my asthma medications do not work?
The asthma medications that i take (an inhaled steroid called relvar ellipta) and albuterol (
ventolin
) do not ever have an effect of my chest tightness, mucus and cough. However i feel that i can breathe a little better. Should these medications only affect the breath?

Can Oral Thrush make you feel really poorly
I’ve had some palpitations too and I’ve never experienced this..even when taking too much
ventolin
! I had suspected tonsillitis beginning Nov so was given 10day course of penicillin.

Broken rib from coughing.
The meds he uses at this moment are, Fostair, Spiriva, has a rescue
Ventolin
inhaler, takes carbocysteine or NAC. He has a nebuliser (and a portable one) with
ventolin
nebules, which he uses about 4 times a day at this moment.

Symbicort and Baltus
Ive tried everything medication wise and still have breathing problems when I walk resulting in having to take my
Ventolin
more than I should. I rinse my mouth and gargle each time I use. This is hampering my life as I love to walk but stopping every time out of breath is dreadful.

Insurance question....
My health coverage from work has refused to cover my preventer inhaler because they said I should be using
Ventolin
more. They cover the cheaper drug (
Ventolin
) but refuse to cover Zenhale (Dulera), or Singulair. I am surprised they cover prednisone.

A&E visit
Obviously I’m happy it was quick, but the reason I’d gone was that I’d had 10 puffs of
ventolin
, which had worn off after an hour. I was struggling to talk and walk and obviously short of breath. But because my oxygen was fine and my chest sounded clear they seemed to decide nothing was wrong.

Pains in upper back
I have been taking more of my
ventolin
as finding chest feeling a bit tight, checked my peak flow and that's fine. Unable to get in touch with Dr's as they have problems with staff and covid.
