A month ago I was diagnosed with Myelodysplasia after undergoing a biopsy when I was at the end of the Venetoclax treatment.

Hi Everyone Interested to know has anyone had trouble with their hearing while taking Ibrutinib and Venetoclax. I'm around 6 months into taking the combined tablets, around 1 month ago I noticed a difference with my hearing, never had a problem with my hearing before I was diagnosed with CLL.

I don’t feel too bad, fever of a 101 and was told just to keep an eye on my fever and my oxygen levels and I could continue with my Venetoclax unless my condition deteriorates. I am lucky I got Covid on the way back and yes, wore a mask and had my booster, it was worth it though.

I will be admitted on Monday to start 5 days of DA EPOCH - R with Venetoclax for 10 days per cycle. The doctor said it will be a challenge but they will see how I tolerate it and adjust appropriately if I have any major problems. The goal is to get me ready for CAR-T.

can you take saw pimento whilst on chemo Ibrutinib and Venetoclax? I use it fire enlarged prostate ?

I am in the middle of Venetoclax treatment for my cll, I contactedfood poisoning Sunday. I am still quite ill. I assume my cll is affecting my recovery? Hopefully this gets better?

UK based, CLL for 15 years, Treatments: FC, FCR, Ibrutinib, Venetoclax for 2.5 years, 6 month break now back on Venetoclax

Venetoclax[/i] [i] 3.3. Anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies and the phagocytic role of leukemia-associated macrophages[/i] [i]4.

They have suggested treatment with Venetoclax only which they have said may reduce the frequency of transfusions which is currently weekly. I have only ever heard of V being used as a combination therapy. Does anyone have any experience of using it on its own and what we can expect it to do.

but unfortunately I was just diagnosed with Gastritis due to the Venetoclax and Aciclovir. It's very painful but after stopping all my cancer medication the stomach pains and diarrhoea are easing off.

After our local oncologist spoke to the transplant specialist at Mayo, we received word that Mayo wants another cycle of Vidaza, this time with Venetoclax added. Apparently chromosomal analysis of the bone marrow led to this change.

After 2 years on Venetoclax, I am now MRD negative. Such fantastic news. The Royal Marsden in London have been absolutely brilliant and can’t thank them enough 😊

[/u] Let me give an example, in a patient with an absolute lymphocyte count of say 10E9/L that is increasing slowly, treat with a 4 week course of Venetoclax (which works incredible fast), not to uMRD, but to lower absolute lymphocyte count to 1E9/L.

what are your experiences with Venetoclax & Ibrutinib treatment...side effects...length of treatments

My hubby's treatment is venetoclax and acalabrutinib (he previously had obinutuzumab too). He is also taking sulfameth trimeth (for ammonia) and valacyclivor (for shingles) dropped from 1200 to 800 mg a day.

I'd really appreciate hearing from others who may have experienced increased side effects well into treatment with Venetoclax. Does it continue to get worse? Thanks for sharing your experience and/or words of encouragement.

I don't understand this aversion to one or two Ibuprofen, when other treatments such as chemo, and Venetoclax,9which almost killed me), are much more toxic and go on for months if not years. ??

T and I agreed to add Venetoclax in an attempt to try to reach uMRD and have a drug holiday! April, 2024 my new doctor (after Dr. T left to go back to Australia), Dr. Ferrajoli ordered a Bone Marrow Biopsy as my PB had gotten down to 0.007 in February, 2024.
