Does the Ursofalk medicine get rid of jaundice? My eyes are yellow! If it does how long did it take?
I have also read
Ursofalk
doesn't work as well if bilirubin is already high. Anyone been there......?

Alternative treatment?
As I got the diagnosis PBC in September'12 and on a treatment of
Ursofalk
. After 6 months some new bloodtests indicated that was'nt sufficient, so now I have to take fenofibrate as well.

Has anyone with PBC been through the Adoption process?
I have been on
Ursofalk
3 times a day for a couple of years. I would not know I had PBC as I have no symptoms and am in full time employment. Any advice or similar issues would be good to know about please!

Hi - New to Forum, PBCer for 3 years
Luckily my specialist sat me down and told me not to pay too much attention to anything that wasn't related to either the PBC or Liver Foundation sites, he prescribed me
Ursofalk
and advised me to modify my diet slightly and that I should be able to lead a relatively normal life.

PBC and symptoms: not sure if this is a question or a rant!
I went back to the docs today for the results of my first post
Ursofalk
blood tests. I've been on the
Ursofalk
for 4 weeks. The difference was amazing - the alp and ggt are way way down - the dip in the graph is something to behold.

how do you manage fatigue, including feelings of 'drunkeness' and problems with memory and concentration?
Does
ursofalk
help with these symptoms? I am new to pbc - diagnosed just yesterday. I have been ill for about a year and off work for about 9 months. The main issues that drove me out of work were fatigue and problems with my memory and concentration.

I was diagnosed in 2011 with PBC. Started with Questran. Then given UrsoFalk - which made my itching much worse. So gave up taking it.
Am now trying again with
UrsoFalk
, this time building up the dosage to 3 tablets a day; now 10 days in and on 2 tablets per day. Still itching but not as much as I did the first time. Has anyone any thoughts on the best times of day to take 3 tablets (next week).

What is the brand name of your URSO if you had the itch upon starting and how is your prescription for it written.
I know the one I have, there is no mention whatsoever in the leaflet the tablets are for PBC, just gallstones so wondered what others (some of you have mentioned taking
Ursofalk
) had on their drug info leaflets.
