My wits end !
I had a complete hysterectomy at the end of Oct 2014. I had endometriosis, adenomyosis & large fibroids removed. I was so optimistic that it would be the end of all of my severe pelvic pain and low moods which had gone on for years. 7 months on from the op I've started experiencing awful burning pain

Feel very demoralised
Apologies in advance for the long and rambling post. Haven't been feeling great lately and had an appt today at the hospital. For me one of my problems is rashes and tiredness - seem to go hand in hand and was diagnosed 2 years ago with sub cutaneous lupus with some systemic threads ( also raynaulds

Come back in three years...(hypothyroidism)
I went to see my GP back in early February as I have a tightening in my throat, croaking voice (sometimes loose my voice), feel like I have a constant frog in my throat, feel fatigued, have a constant hissing in both ears, feel constantly cold, have occasional palpitations where I think my heart 'stumbles

Ovarian Cysts & Bladder Urachal Remnant/Lesion
I had a Cystoscopy (camera inside bladder) in March 2015 to check for bladder lesions because of microscopic hematuria (microscopic blood in urine). The procedure didn't cause any pain during or afterwards -The Urologist applied a Anesthetic Gel to numb the urethra . I also had a CT scan with contrast

Thyroid levels
Hi everyone so sorry if someone has posted this question before. I have been borderline for underactive Thyroid levels since 2004 . Didn't know only when I was really poorly and went with a whole page of symptoms and pleaded with my doctor to help me. He looked at me as if I was mad. I have CMT but

Does anyone with secondary/central hypo suffer with polyuria?
I am undiagnosed at present (normal bloods!) but have been having hypo symptoms. I am being tested for all sorts at the moment, most recently serum cortisol which came back slightly on the low side. As a result I have been asked to do a 24hr urine test and I was getting concerned that the container is

Adrenal insufficiency/hypothyroid symptoms
I've been seeing a gp at my practice for a few months now with hypothyroid symptoms. I have had all the bloods done, all normal (b12, vit d, ferritin etc all well within normal range) tsh 2.65 (0.35 - 4.5) FT4 12 (12 - 22) FT3 3.9 (3.1 - 6.9) I asked to be referred to an endo as gp is only willing

Not sure what is happening with my body ..
Okay I'm not sure what is happening and i dont think my doctors are fully sure either. I didn't know if this had happened with anyone else or if anyone had any insight or knowledge about it. Vitamin B12 testing: completely pointless??
I recently had my active vitamin B12 tested by Blue Horizon and the results showed it was within the normal range (76 pmol/L). I've read elsewhere on this site that there are recommendations to have an MMA test, if the B12 result is less than 70. I haven't come the MMA test before, so had a little look
