Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) test

I think I am undermedicated with results: Serum TSH level 2.41 mIU/L [0.27 - 4.2] Serum free T4 level 16.7 pmol/L [12.0 - 22.0] Especially as I forgot and took my 50 levothyroxine an hour before the test (numpty) They are against me being on levothyroxine as I can't have any symptoms at that TSH

T4 - 19.2 (12-22) T3 - 9.8 (3.1-6.8) TSH 0.01 TPO - 172 (<35) TSH receptor Ab - 2.52 (0-0.9) Haemoglobin - 122 (120-150) CRP - 11.5 (<5) 11 January - went back to the hospital when they confirmed Graves, they said to continue 60mg of propranolol and start 10mg Carbimazole.

I am being investigated currently for thyroid issues - high T3, low TSH. An ultrasound has shown thyroid nodules so far.

I had a private hormone blood test which has come back with an out of range result for Thyroid function TSH 0.006 Range 0.270-4.2 T4 40.6 Range 12-22 My GP will be doing a referral to Endo and I am booked in for more bloods, didn’t really say anything anything else other than I have a hyperactive

The result from my August TFT shows that normal range of all tests I.e TSH 1.57 range is [0.27-4.2] T4. 10.55 rang is [5.1-14.1] FT3. 2.94 range is. [2.02-4.43] Eventhough all tests shows the normal range, I am feeling as before starting the treatment.

I've done medichecks TSH tests and cortisol. Only test low is my T4 which tbh never changed since 2016 TSH fluctuates. I had telephone appointment before my test results came back. Due to my chronic fatigue. Weight gain. Constantly aching limbs. Especially my legs ,No strength.

Hey there, Serum TSH level: 0.13 mIU/L Normal range: 0.35 to 4.94 After nearly a year of fighting with my GP over meds amounts and optimal ranges, my TSH is finally below 1 after initially being 8-9.

TSH: 0.45 Low (Reference range: 0.55-4.78) Free T4: 1.3 ng/dL (Reference range: 0.67-1.52) Free Triiodothyronine 3.0 pg/mL (Reference range: 2.3-4.2) My bloodwork 6-18 months ago showed similar readings/values: that was the first time I ever had low TSH, 6-18 months ago and also now.

I've had 2 blood tests now with the following results: June 2024: TSH: 5.95 T4: 14.6 August 2024: TSH: 4.71 T4: 13.6 TPO Ab: 39 I have all the symptoms of an underactive thyroid and have been struggling for 12 months with exhaustion, weight gain, hair thinning, low mood, low libido etc.

My GP added this to some well woman tests which I have seen tonight (after surgery closing time) and are as follows:- Serum TSH 16.6 miu/L [0.3-5] Serum free T4 5.3 pmol/L [7-20] also HDL and triglyceride levels are higher than range.

My GP said that as my TSH is 1.44 I'm in the sweet spot and an increase isn't required. She then went on to inform my that I had been Hyperthyroid initially and now Hypothyroid.. is that even possible?

I think here in Scotland we only measure Tsh and t4, t3 (I think) at a push if requested but hard to get at GP. In England is it Ft3 I’ve seen on posts. That’s why I’m asking if they’re the same measurement.

My latest thyroid blood test dated 24th July 24 is: TSH 5.1 the Range is 0.5-5.0. (Normal Range) Last year when I was about to withdraw from Levothyroxine the TSH was 8.9! How do I feel. I have lost weight. My hair is not too bad given my age. My nails are good. I don't have the brain fog.

My TSH is not measurable at < 0.02, my FT4 is within range at 20.9 (11-22.7) and my FT3 is 5.9 (3.5 -6.5), much higher than it has ever been before. My previous results on 15/04 were TSH 0.02, FT4 23.6 (12-22), FT3 4.7 (3.1-6.8). These were all on 100mcg levo.

TSH 0.234 ( 0.27-4.2) T3 4.1 (3.1-6.8) FT4 20.1 (12-22) She has sent me a questionnaire regarding quality of life to consider a trial of T3 but I have to increase Levothyroxine before..
