Endo no longer wants to see me.
My recent blood tests show my
tsh
is 0.54 (0.35 - 4.94 ulU/ml) and my t4 is 14.5 (9.0 - 19.0 pmol/ml). I am on 75 mcg euthyrox. I had a scan on Friday and now have residual thyroid tissue on both the left and right side, 6 months ago I only had thyroid tissue on the left side.

Levothyroxine concerns.
My concern is if after taking the thyroxine for 8 weeks if my
TSH
comes into normal range but I’m still suffering with symptoms, my GP won’t increase the dose. I asked and they confirmed this. I don’t understand what the benefit is to take it if I will still be symptomatic.

Latest results, I’m a bit confused
TSH
is up too, NHS test June 23, 2.12 range 0.35-5 T4 still at bottom of the range, all in all I can’t decide what sort of problem I might have, if any?

Plant Sterols
TSH
0.15/ T4 - 22.00/ T3 - 4.6I feel ok thyroid wise, however, my cholestrol was 6.7. I am going to make some life style changes but I asked the pharmacist about Plant Sterols, needless to say she didn't know anything about them and whether they work.

unusual test results
I have been on 75 mcg levothyroxine for a number of years but my latest blood tests show
tsh
4.6 and T4 19. This has been repeated 3 times now just to be sure and the results are the same. I always take the thyroxine at least an hour before breakfast.

Reverse t3
My gp currently only tests my
tsh
to check up on my levels, I am currently taking Thyroid-S, which are always in the reference range. So I have looked at the private tests which include Ft3 and Ft4, but I wanted to know if Reverse t3 is necessary as well?

Hypo after all?
D is not surprising) I don’t know what the high Gamma GT result might mean, but to me, a raised
TSH
with low FT4, folate and B12 suggest hypothyroidism. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated. Thank you.

thyroid issues and ivf
(Undectable
tsh
and below range low t4). I know the big impact being hypothyroid can have on fertility so hoping I can get somewhere with this and start treatment asap.

when does your low TSH stop following you around the NHS?
This morning had a long ‘ difference of opinion’ with a consultant of ‘Geriatric falls and syncope’ about my raised HR ( c.95-115) following various BP/HR problems with 3+ years of Long Covid…she had decided it was likely related to my low
TSH
suggesting I was over medicated for hypothyroidism.

Dr declining Levo increase
Latest bloods: FT3 4.0 (3.1-6.8) 24.3% through range FT4 16.6 (12-22) 46% through range
TSH
0.99 (0.27-4.2) What do you think? Should I push for an increase and if denied should I buy levo privately and increase regardless?
