Latest results - confused!
Firstly - reassuringly, the Medichecks and NHS % through range values for
TSH
and FT4 are reasonably close, which gives a nice cross-validation of the results.

Hello I'm new here.
Reduced my LT to 75mcg which is causing a rise in
TSH
, now I've been told my antibodies are high hence the diagnosis. I have been dieting for 10 months and have lost 1st 10lbs - it's been a struggle, but I can't have my much-needed hip replacement until I have lost another stone.

T4 dose causes no changes to FT4, but affects TSH
However my
TSH
does, and so do my cholesterol levels, so clearly T4 is working. Can anyone shed some light on why the FT4 levels don't seem to change much? Vitamins, nutrients etc are all within range. Thank you

need reassurance
My
tsh
went up to 15.
Tsh
lab tab range (.5-4) in states. I am beginning third week and should be used to side effects when increasing due to sensitivity. This week always seems to be the hardest of the up and downs. Just need reassurance that increase was necessary and this will pass

Are my symptoms due to overdosage?
Are these symptoms due to my high
tsh
and how long will it take to ressolve on my new dose? The dr has also decided to start weaning me off my nevibolol at the same time and says my high pulse was thyroid related and i never should have been put on it in the first place.

Heart Failure and skewed TSH results
Consultant knew nothing of Thyroid disease or Pernicious Anaemia which I also have so didn't want to comment about my way off balance
TSH
result. Fair enough at least he was honest.

T4 blood test
Doctor took
tsh
without T4 so I've just asked for a T4 test which he agreed to.So I will book for early morning and fasting. My question is how many days should I stop taking my Bs prior? I know someone has advised before but I can't find the post. Thank you.

weight gain despite normal T3 levels
hi all hope you’re well I wanted some advice on continuing weight gain with suffering Hashimotos despite having a relatively high T3 level of 5.9 threshold being between 3.9-6.8 T4 is 13.3 (so slightly low but due to taking T3 medication) And a suppressed
TSH
of 0.02.

Fibromyalgia or Hypothyroidism?
Likewise, a high
TSH
would be indicative, but one "in range" may or may not rule a thyroid condition out. From this very informative board, I know what parts of the range are usually optimal, but only for those on thyroid meds.

Borderline results but feel dreadful!
TSH

New results! 😮😮😮😁😁😁😁
As of right now, almost 5 weeks in, my
tsh
is 0.76! 😮😮😮 (0.45-5.33) how is that possible on 50mcg? I'm excited, nonetheless!! Free t4 is 0.95 (0.61-1.24)... didn't test t3, but I'll be happy to wait a few months on this dose with that
tsh
! Please advise. 😄 I'm shocked!

TSH how long for suppressed TSH to return to normal after stopping T3?
Again she tried to tell me I need to reduce my levothyroxine because of my suppressed
TSH
. Only saw her because she’s meant to be good with HRT, but she’s gone mad about my
TSH
. My FT4 is only 48-% through range, so if anything, I’d like to increase my levo!

Help with latest results and possible taking T3
I had recently done a GP test the week before with
TSH
of 1.34 Both tests in the morning around 8am No Meds. I had been trialling some extra T4 for about 8 weeks. Originally I had been on 75 for a while, over a year and then I noticed my
TSH
creeping up.
