LOOKING FOR ARTICLES SUPPORTING A SUPPRESSED TSH WHEN ON NDT
I am looking for published articles that support the following “the
tsh
will be suppressed despite normal t4 and normal t3 in patients taking NDT medication” I am looking for supportive articles to use with my dr who is struggling to accept my NDT dose and believes I am over medicated despite normal

So the doctor tests
TSH
and it’s off and bang, you are giving meds. Then many struggle for years to get the meds ‘right’. Sometimes it’s never right. I do know many have very severe symptoms so this might be in relation to those with what would be more along the lines of less severe.

NHS Endocrinology appointment with results of NHS T3 tests. Are latest bloods in my favour or will they work against me?
my
TSH
is suppressed due to the T3, but how about the rest of my bloods?

First ever Medichecks Advanced Thyroid Test
The
TSH
result would indicate I need to increase levo, also I'm concerned at high CRP and antibodies! Plus I don't think I convert T4 to T3 very well. Your thoughts are very much welcomed and valued.

Recent Labs!!
TSH
: 14.2 (0.5-4) FT4: 14.1 (11-22) FT3: 4.9 (3-6) So now finally the doctors have put me back on medication, starting at 50mg levo again. 6-8 week retest. Weirdly though they tested my
TSH
at hospital when I went august 20th it was 17.7 so has gone down despite no medication. Any reason?

Sudden change in fT4 levels
Is it likely, as the GP stated, that suppressed
TSH
is the cause of the joint pains?

Need advice about T3 levels
The free T4 and the
TSH
are fine by the look of them. Im just wondering if that T3 level is a bit low.

Are these results okay?
Ft4 was 8.1 (normal range 7-17)
TSH
2.67 ( normal range 0.20- 4.40). I am awaiting a telephone consultation with the GP but am worried that as the results have fallen in the 'normal' range I may be dismissed. I have read on another forum that optimal Ft4 levels are at the upper end of the range?

Hunger advice
I have only recently (2 weeks) started to increase my thyroxine from 75/100 to 100 per day due to recent low T4 for me, T3 was above 50% but
TSH
was climbing. However, I still experience feeling hungry, particularly at night, when I have already eaten my evening meal.

Thyroid hormone and cortisol!
Then he States higher cortisol/effects reduce
TSH
and T4 to T3 conversion. All of this is mind-boggling I will continue to study but if anybody has a word I'd like to say that's cool with me. Thank you for being here for me I appreciate everyone on this site.

T4 low, TSH low side of normal. GP won’t test T3 or refer to endocrinologist.
I don’t know what to do- My recent T4 level was 11, and my
TSH
1.31. I’ve been experiencing hypothyroid symptoms for over 5 years.

How to ask the GP for a referral letter
Any advice on how to ask my NHS GP for this as I've never had an NHS acknowledgement of my Hashi's (my
TSH
has never been anywhere near "high enough" so I had to go to a private GP for initial diagnosis and am now effectively self-treating via a pharmacy; my symptoms are way better on Thyroid treatment

Genuine NDT source please
Usual story - I've had several clueless GPs, cant get a referral for love nor money as my results don't warrant it,
tsh
only of course because symptoms are put down to stress and a busy lifestyle and medichecks aren't accurate because they aren't NHS.

Thyroxine drop
My
TSH
is way below where it should be and my Thyroid level is still at the top of the normal range. I have no energy, I'm feeling cold and alos feeling a bit down...very unlike me because I'm a positive person normally. I know that mine is autoimmune, coupled with RA, Chron's and Alopeica.

New Hospital appointment on Wednesday.
These are my latest results done privately ( since my GP did my
TSH
only in August) in September
TSH
0.14 (0.27-4.2) T3 4.13 ( 3.1-6.8) T4 22.2 (11.22) I work this out that my T3 is only 27.84% through range.

Seeing endo unexpectedly and have private blood test on the way!!!
I noticed in replies to others that
TSH
is low if you take T3 but as they're blaming low
TSH
for my osteopenia would this not still be the case? I don't know how to counteract their statements. Feeling anxious already as I find appointments difficult 🥴

The thyroid gland under Notch control
Do TFC1 and TFC2 get controlled by
TSH
exactly the same as each other? Or are the response profiles different? Or do different isoforms of
TSH
affect them differently?
