Prescribed levothyroxine at last!
After a long struggle, you know how it goes... I have finally been offered a trial of levothyroxine by a GP. My Medichecks results in 2020 were ignored by my GP (serum TSH 6 range 0.7-4.2) plus presence of large amount of antibodies. NHS ones kept coming back 'normal'. A different GP agreed to

I am on thyroxine and T3 medication for under active thyroid. A friend was recently prescribed low dose naltrexone to help with inflammation in the body as well as being on thyroid medication. Does anyone know if naltrexone is available to purchase without prescription in the UK as I would like to trial

Ideal ranges info
Hello everyone,Does anyone have a post on calculating target ranges for each of the vitamins we care about (vit d, ferritin etc). I have scrolled through pinned posts and searched but couldn't find the info in one place. Happy Friday to all.

I have gradually reduced my meds over time, from 150/125 mcg Levothyroxine and 20 mcg liothyronine, to 75 mcg Levothyroxine and 10 mcg liothyronine. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s back in 2013, but my TPO has been within

Haematologist’s unsupportive B12 response
In a recent pathology test, my gastroenterologist was concerned with my low haemoglobin count and a high reticulocyte count. She mentioned that although I’m low in ferritin (40) I’m not yet needing an iron infusion just yet. My white cell count was seemingly low also and she suggested that I should get

T3 too high?
Hi all, Last time I had my thyroid levels checked I followed the protocol of taking half my Armour dose the night before my tests. The blood test was done at 9am and all was in range. This time my endocrinologist specifically asked me to have my blood tests two hours after taking my normal Amour dose

Symptoms
Tsh 12.5 miu/lT4 16.4 pmol/l Both have improved since my last thyroid blood test but these past few weeks I have shortness of breath and pain in my neck. Could this be down to my t4 been too high even though its within range. Thanks

TSH remains suppressed
So, been taking 125mcg levo and 12.5mcg Liothyronine for years, but recently lost some weight, and started randomly throwing up. Blood tests at Dr showed,T4 19.9 (11-23) TSH <0.01 (0.27-4.5) So wanting to feel better, I reduced the t3 to 6.25mcg, and levo to 100mcg Nurse practitioner agreed to check

ferritin level and symptom question
I first posted a few months ago and based upon replies there were mixed feelings on whether my symptoms were truly RLS. Main complaints were a current/restless sensation in my legs and some twitching, more at night but also in the daytime if I was sitting for long. The symptom that was not fitting

b12 keeps dropping ferritin
Hi Friends, Has anyone had success raising and maintaining ferritin after it dropped from b12 injections? I first caught the iron issue in October, after shots all last summer. I tried many supplements until landing on the least bad offender to my stomach. I got my ferritin to 33, but it dropped

RLS: nutrition matters, n = 1
Hi, just want to give an update on an experiment I've alluded to in posts on a few others' threads. I recently was able to wean completely off my pramipexole Rx over the course of about a month. (I had been taking it for 6-7 years, increasing over time b/c of augmentation, from .12 mg nightly to about
