Hi Everyone
Hi All, I'm new to this, both in terms of the site and COPD. I've (due to COVID-19 outbreak) got a 'working diagnosis' of COPD, I'm unable to have a Spirometry done at the moment to confirm the diagnosis. Both the GP and my nurse have agreed it is a case of purely establishing what stage I am at, rather

Lifelong asthmatic
Hi, I'm a lifelong asthmatic and until fairly recently didn't realise that my asthma is severe. It also seems that I probably have bronchiectasis - diagnosis incomplete due to the advent of coronavirus. What I don't understand is why some medical people are not concerned about when my peak flow drops

Relvar ellipta, Montelukast should I be shielding?
Hi, I know there have been a lot of similar questions but with the ever changing advice I’m feeling utterly confused. I take Relvar Ellipta 184/22, montelukast and salbutamol as needed. From what I can figure I think that means I should shield? Interpreting the guidelines when you don’t know the medication

New inhalers
I was given Anoro Elipta and Flixotide about 2 weeks ago by a new GP as my COPD had gone from Mild to Moderate. The nurse had not said anything when I had my spirometry. Does anyone know if you are supposed to feel your lungs opening up when you use your inhaler?, I have never noticed, and I have been

Good Morning everyone and a very Happy New Year to you all. Hope 2020 is kind to you. When John came out of hospital after having pneumonia his consultant stopped Relvar Ellipta and Incruse Ellipta and gave him Anoro to inhale instead which I believe is a non steroid inhaler. I found it odd as he

Husky throat with Relvar Ellipta
Firstly as newly diagnosed with bronchiectasis can I thank everyone for this forum. It is so helpful. Following a lung function test in September my FeNO score was so high I'm on a Relvar Ellipta inhaler highest dose. This has made a terrific difference to my lung capacity, I can now walk quite long

Specialist appointment - after 15 months
So finally got my specialist appointment for a consultant that I was with previously waiting since last August. I was waiting so long I went to see him private and because I have involved in a study he said he wouldn't change anything with my inhalers until he was seeing as a public patient in the hospital

Sore throat/headache/eye pain
I moved from Seretide to a Relvar Ellipta and Incruse several months ago. I keep getting headaches, sore throat and eye pain. I’m not sure whether it’s the Incruse or the Relvar causing the problems. Does anyone have any experience of these symptoms whilst on Relvar or Incruse?
