resembling Lupus....... when the CLL diagnosis was made the plan was to watch and wait because he was extremely healthy except for some swollen lymph nodes and the rash...... the rash got better but never went completely away.... a year passed and due to chronic infections he had 4 treatments of Rituxan and treanda

My last chemo in 2014 was Rituxin + Treanda that gave me a partial remission so it's back to W&W.

I have been dealing with CLL since 2003 and had various chemo treatments, last being Treanda/Rituxan combo that knocked it down for a bit Roughest time I had was my spleen swelling on me, which has happened twice.

74 y.o. w/f patient who In 2013 officially dx'd , wbc's elevated, oncologist said w/w for a while as asymptomatic, then in 2014 count .100,000 he said I had to do something so got Treanda - felt lousy with it, had two cycles, then next month Treanda with Rituxin, became totally neutropenic, in hospital

The FDA issued a statement, warning healthcare professionals not to use the chemotherapy drug Treanda Injection (bendamustine hydrochloride) with closed system transfer devices (CSTDs), adapters, and syringes containing polycarbonate or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS).

Having just received my 2nd round of Treanda with positive results so far, I would like to hear from those that have experienced treatment usng Treanda or ( Bendamustine). at their various stages of treatment..Thanking you, in advance.. Joe

I'd like to know if I started the Treanda Rituxin treatment as suggested by my oncologist, how would this further affect my hemoglobin count along with the platelets. I really don't want to suffer adverse effects due to my already low hgb & platelet count. Has anyone experienced this?

I've recently been placed on the "Treanda" protocol and would like to hear from those that were either on it or presently are. How do you feel now and how you felt while going through the 6 months of treatments..

Wants to begin treatment using Treanda ( Bendamustine) twice per month on consecutive days and repeating each month for 6 months? Any comments ?

Eagle Pharmaceuticals have just announced the success of a Phase 1 trial of 81 patients, which has shown that a 50ml admixture of Bendamustine HCl delivered in ten minutes (their rapidly infused product) was found to be bioequivalent to the Treanda 500mL admixture, which requires a 60-minute infusion

Rick has just started Treanda/Rituxan. After a week enlarged nodes in armpit and groin areas are shrinking. Severe lymphodema in arm and leg is going down rapidly. Would welcome comments, feedback and experiences from those dealing with DLBCL.
