Upcoming SLT procedure-what to expect.
I am having Selective Laser
Trabeculoplasty
soon. I wonder what to expect after the procedure. How quick will recovery be? Will I be able to drive the next day? I would be most grateful for any advice from anyone who has had the procedure.

Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty
I had SLT on both eyes in July and had my follow up appointment today. Disappointed to find that my pressures are 20 and 22 so very little improved. I was given the choice of repeated laser or eye drops. The doctor then went on to say how difficult eye drops are to put in etc! I was concerned that in

Have you experienced selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT)?
If you've experienced selective laser
trabeculoplasty
(SLT), the National Insight for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) would like to invite you to join their glaucoma diagnosis and treatment committee.

The glaucoma treatment that only takes seconds
An approved form of laser eye surgery known as SLT (selective laser
trabeculoplasty
) involves contact with the eye for about 10 minutes. The doctor places a large lens against the eye and rotates it to fire 100 separate laser beams manually.
