NHS Stent Treatment

Hi all,

At the beginning of August I had the trabeculoplasty treatment.

Unfortunately that never worked and my pressure is still really high they are now talking about doing another treatment asap.

It’s something to do with putting a stent in my eye and it should help open the drainage and lower my pressure as the first treatment has not worked.

Has anyone had this treatment before?

I have Glaucoma and had Cataracts removed 2019/20 which is known help reduce pressures. At the same time two stents were put in each eye. Worked well for me and my pressures have been stable at c. 12/14 ever since.

do you maybe mean a Preserflo Microshunt? If so I had that done 6 months ago and now eye is draining well and pressure down to 13.

Hi,

Not sure all I know is the doctor have mentioned about putting a stent in the eye which will help reduce the pressure.
