Help...odd thyroid results...
Low end fT4 (12) with low end TSH (1.2)....plus high end
TPO
(33) All with in normal ranges, but only just for fT4/
TPO
......could it be Hashimotos.....my symptoms work, and already coeliac... But why hasn't my TSH gone up ? Any ideas?

Little long - TSH swinging up and down, Dr says 'wait and see' but we need IVF!
He said my
TPO
antibodies are +ve but TRABS are -ve, and that he is simply going to ‘wait and watch’ as TFT’s are back to normal. I’m not entirely sure I follow what this exactly means, and I’ve thus far been unable to get hold of him or the patient pathway co-ordinator.

Not hypothyroid after all but referred to rheumatologist to check for fibromyalgia and/or lupus.
My ferririn is at 27,
TPO
are negative and my tsh and free T4 in normal range, my cholesterol is low normal range and the doctor is adamant it’s not my thyroid causing my symptoms.

Completely lost
My GP sent me for another ultrasound on my neck and my
TPO
antibodies came back at 432 ( range 3 - 30). They have found a lesion on my thyroid and a couple of nodules on the Parathyroid, but feel that the lump is a lymph node. I then had nuclear radiation scan.

Sudden high thyroid hormones - no symptoms other than a lump and very itchy rash
I've explained ideally she will get TG,
TPO
and TSI abs tests, and a thyroid scan. She's not sure whether or not to take the carbimazole or wait for further testing. Any ideas on what this lump could be - it looks like it's too far back to be a gland??

Wish me luck!
In all my time I have NEVER had tests for vitamin D, ferritin, folate,
TPO
or TG antibodies tested - but thanks to this forum have asked for them this time. I managed to get B12 tested last time, at the suggesiton of my excellent pharmacist - and this was 471 (range 180 - 640).

GP won't test T3 or T4
I have my blood tests done annually & up till now my GP has approved all the tests I've seen recommended here (TSH, FT4, FT3, ferritin, folate, B12, vit D,
TPO
). I've been on 100mcg levothyroxine for a few years now. At this level combined with a gluten free diet due to Hashimotos I feel fine.

What is the treatment for central hypothyroidism?
TSH - 0.47 (0.27 - 4.20) Free T3 - 4.23 (3.1 - 6.8) Highest level since starting testing in April 19 Free T4 - 11.0 (12.0 - 22.0) Lowest level, but know that NDT has an impact Total T4 - 56.9 (66 - 181) Lowest level, but know that NDT has an impact TgAb antibodies - 271 (<115) Highest level

Finally took the plunge and started a self-trial of Levothryoxine (after 12 months procrastination)
I find it particularly maddening that the NHS won't consider a diagnosis based on presence of elevated TG Antibodies (which I have, along with symptoms and previously elevated TSH), but that they only consider
TPO
Antibodies as diagnostic when it comes to autoimmune thyroid disease.

Adjusting to higher dose of levo-? Only 2 weeks in (advice needed)
I have Hashis, confirmed by
TPO
antibodies and was diagnosed a year ago. Since this increase I have been more sweaty, accelerated heartrate and clammy and I feel hot but I don’t have a high temperature. It is keeping me from being able to sleep. I also have very high anxiety.

New member (long post)
My levels at that time: TSH 18.5 (0.4-4.2) FT4 0.5 (0.8-1.8) anti-
TPO
6566 (<11) anti-TG 441 (<1) No FT3 tested at the time as that is not standard procedure where I live (Sweden). Levo only is the treatment of choice.

Update
My T4 has gone up from 13.8 which I guess is good and my
TPO
has stayed about the same.

Is there a link between hypothyroidism and POTS?

Advice on medichecks results.
Hi all, my latest results have arrived. I've been on 75mcg for over 1 year now as my GP wouldn't increase the dosage, even when I complained of a lot of symptoms. My last results in June 2019 were: TSH 1.58mu/L 0.35-5 (GP doesn't do anything else) Latest from Medichecks (early morning, fasting and took

Taking Levo only as I have needed it - 5 months diary.
My
TPO
antibodies were 136 when first tested (normal >35). The biggest impact on how much levo I need, in hindsight - has been presence or absence of significant stress and significant travel with children, which, unsurprisingly I find pretty stressful.

Low TSH and Low fT4
The blood results are (no food, but was kept waiting three hours for blood draw, 12:30): fT4 1.09 0.90-1.70 TSH 0.98 0.30-4.20
TPO
-AK 13 <34 Thyreoglobulin-AK 6 5-100 With a fT4 so relatively low, how can she have enough fT3? Is that possible? My guess is she is running on adrenaline.
