TSH blocking antibodies
I have always assumed that I had Hashimotos, but have an atrophic thyroid and negative thyroglobulin and
TPO
antibodies so am curious. This forum is an amazing resource of information and support. I would be very grateful for any pointers/ info! Thanks

Hello & Should I do private tests?
from these tests: TSH: 5.77 (0.20 - 4.50) FT4: 10.2 (7.00 - 17.00)
TPO
: 20.0 (0.00 - 9.00) Ferritin: 12.0 (10.00 - 150.00) Total 25-OH Vit. D 69.7 (50.00 - 250.00) This was routine NHS blood testing, so there are no FT3 or other antibody tests.

additional test results
Hi, After my initial blood tests (listed in my previous post) 2 weeks ago showed hypothyroidism and iron deficient anemia my gp ordered some additional tests to establish the cause. These were taken at 8:45am in the morning fasted. Please could you help me interpret what they mean? If they are ‘normal

Impatient Patient feeling anxious 😬
My
TPO
antibodies were very high so does this mean that I am currently having an autoimmune attack and this is why I feel so crappy? I do feel quite alone.

Am I hypothyroid?
My questions are: as I have elevated
TPO
and have been having some of the typical hypo symptoms, does this mean that I am already hypo? Do I need medication? Is there anything that I can do to keep myself from getting worse? Is there any way I can lose some of this weight I’ve gained?

newly diagnosed with autoimmune underactive thyroid
Doc did bloods, including
TPO
antibodies in October 2022 and nothing was out of range. Saw a gynaecologist in March as I have endometriosis and prolapses and he ran an autoimmune blood screen, including thyroid because of my symptoms.

Happy New Year! Newbie, posting results for help/advice please following my “shock” post in December
Still trying to digest everything from my December diagnosis of Hashimoto’s and advice given. Instead of adding to my previous post I thought it better to begin a new one to incorporate my blood results that several of you kind people requested. I still cannot fathom that I need to take medication for

Levothyrixine no longer working?
hi everyone. Around 6 months ago I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. My Serum thyroid peroxidase antibody concentration was 173.9 ku/L and my TSH was off kilter. I was prescribed 25mg then increased to 50mg. After a few weeks I felt like a new woman. In the last month I’ve started to feel the same as pre-Levothyroxine

When do I increase my meds?
T3 is 28% of the range T4 is 50% of the range Anti-TG is normal range Anti-
TPO
is raised a bit at 150 (but my diet has been gluten and dairy free for eons and I lowered
TPO
from 600 to 150, and TG from 600 to normal). Trying LDN.

Is this hypothyroidism?
T4 really low in range T3 about halfway in range Antibodies
TPO
and thyroglobulin both present but below range. Does that mean definitely not autoimmune? Cortisol high Magnesium high in range. To me the T4 is a big red flag, but with the T3 not so bad I wonder if she's converting T4 to T3 ok.

Hypothyroid symptoms but normal test results
Test results for thyroid: TSH: 1.5 T4: 15.4 T3: 4.43 Anti-
TPO
: 13.7 Anti-TG: 60.7 All of the above seem to be within the healthy range - albeit slightly on the 35/40% of the 'green' scale provided by Randox. What could be going on?

Hashimotos or not
Hi guys,My recent lab results were
tpo
antibodies 42 ku/l (0-60) Tsh 5.5 (0.2-4) My doctor has told me I don't have hashimoto's. However after doing some research online, lots of thyroid resources stating anything higher than 35 ku/l = hashimotos.
