hard to get well....
Having just got over a chest infection, a bout of breathlessness followed, to the point that I felt, yesterday, as though my next would be my last. The humidity wrecks me as well. Dr said viral infection. Didn't want to up Pred again. Nurse had put me up to 30mg for 5 days. He said to use my nebuliser

Inhaler vs nebulizer
I am curious if any if you are using just a nebulizer instead if inhaler. I have new pulmo doctor and he has me using a nebulizer with Brovana, Budesonide & Ipratroplum Bromide. I have emphysema and have been struggling last couple years ending up in ER or hospital. The nebulizer is not that convenient

Just a thought
Good evening, I was listening to a discussion about vaping on the radio today, which set me thinking. Could asthma meds be put into a vapour instead of sucking in a powder, it would be like a mini nebuliser? Is this likely to be possible? You could even get flavours 😂. Any thoughts?

PSEUDOMONAS.
As someone who is on colomycin nebs, i recently found out about a study carried out at Liverpool university on something called phage therapy. I was just wondering if anyone else had come across this research as it sounds so promising.

Had an asthma attack at the weekend as i could not dress or walk or do anything without breathing being out of control. Took extra nebs and eventually 8x 5mg prednisolone. This now day 3 and feeling better. Does anyone know how long you can take them for without reducing dose. Many thanks

Hi, I have an Omron CX nebuliser that is no longer needed. I phone BLF to ask how I could get it to someone who would find it helpful. They suggested I put up a post here. I'm in North London (N21). Collection is welcome. I'm happy to post it out too if the recipient is happy to arrange this. I have

Colloidal silver.
I have begun to add three drops of colloidal silver (45 parts per million) in my morning and evening nebuliser. I am hoping this will prevent bacterial infections from starting in my lungs. Will this work? Or am I doing more damage than cure?
