Free vs Total Testosterone? - Redux.
Cheerr had asked: "Which test is recommended for Pca patients - Total or Free." I belatedly remembered a German study [1] that took a look at the issue. This could be important - hence the new post. "Despite the fact that free testosterone (FT) is the biologically active form, it is common practice

Tyramine, MAO A and MAO B has any one tried a tyramine reduced diet?
I was reading up on MAO inhibitors as the question was asked which is best, an MAO inhibitor or C/L. My husband has had a genetic test and his results say he has lower expression of MAO A and B so I imagine inhibiting it further is probably not a good thing. But reading this it looks like reducing

Neuropilin-2b facilitates resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors in non–small cell lung cancer.
Medical University of South Carolina. Neuropilin-2b facilitates non–small cell lung cancer resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors, and this biological effect relates to AKT activation. Neuropilin-2b GSK3β interactions appear to be essential for PTEN degradation and AKT activation in lung cancer cells

tinnitus and hypothyroidism
I've recently upped my dose of
Tirosint
from 75 to 88 mcg, thanks to great advice I got here. Is that a cause and it will pass? Could it be due to a vitamin deficiency? Anxiously hoping for advice.

Help, not sure what's going on with anxiety
Anyways, after that, went to an endocrinologist and she immediately took me off both and put me on
tirosint
and liothyronine. At first I felt amazing and then the panic attacks and anxiety set in. Overall sense of Doom and unwellness.

Immunotherapy, TKIs for Resectable/Resected NSCLC: a Comprehensive Overview of Promising Phase II Data, Phase III Status
Surgical outcomes for early-stage NSCLC are still very poor due to the high rate of recurrence through distant metastases. It is likely that these distant metastases are present at initial resection as undetectable micrometastases. In order to target these potential sites of recurrence in early-stage

VEGF Inhibitors.
The list below is copied from a paper published last year [1]. As many might recall, untreated tumors outgrow their blood supply. Contrary to popular belief, cancer does not "hate" oxygen. Oxygen insufficiency (hypoxia) results in production of HIF-1alpha (hypoxia-inducible factor-1alpha), which triggers
