COPD and Hyperinflated Lung's or as radiologist like to say Long Lungs
Use of bronchodilators with prolonged durations of action, such as
tiotropium
, can sustain significant reductions in lung inflation similar in effect to lung volume reduction surgery. How efficacy of bronchodilators is assessed

Is there any alternatives to Tiotropium capsules inhalers
I wonder if there are any alternatives to
Tiotropium
inhalers as there is a shortage in my area. My Dr tried me on a Seabri inhaler but it made me shake too much. He said there were no others but my specialist at hospital said that there were but it was a matter of cost.

Asthma's my latest diagnosis!
My spirometry was down a bit, so they diagnosed COPD immediately (prior to CT but after X-rays, which were both clear anyway) and gave me
Tiotropium
, which did nothing at all. I stopped taking it after a couple of months and went back on the brown stuff, which as I say helps a bit.

Just wanted to let you know
Tiotropium
Inhalers are being discontinued, the pharmacist told me it wad because long term use can cause glaucoma. The doctor has prescribed me something else.

Spiriva supply problem
There's been a brief interruption to the supply of
tiotropium
refill capsules - stocks should be back in most pharms from tomorrow. So if you've got a script in for them and there has been a delay, that'll be why.

Brittle asthma, Anaphylaxis and the royal Brompton
My current meds are; symbicort 400, atrovent inhaler,
tiotropium
, loratadine, montelukast, nasonex, and ventolin nebules 5mg 4x a day, plus more when I'm bad. On top of that I've now got epi pens too. When is this going to get better? I know it won't but it's just ruining my life.

Researchers published evidence on the widely prescribed anticholinergics ipratropium bromide and
