Spiriva
Hey, I've been started on Spiriva (
tiotropium
) by my consultant, and I've got a few questions about it which I didnt get chance to ask my con (as my appointment had ran over by way too long), and was wondering if anyone could help; 1) Is spiriva the same as atovant?

Spirometry
I take
tiotropium
and serevent and the venotlin. Anyway, the nurse thought I needed a steroid inhaler but decided on doing the spirometry first. I am 50 and it came out age 27. So, I have to see my gp in a couple of weeks with a view to possibly reducing the inhalers ,but I am so worried.

Tiotropium
There are two parts to this question: Firstly, has anyone been prescribed
Tiotropium
for asthma and has it helped (I gather it's usually used for COPD) Secondly, my consultant today said that this now came with a brand new devise that vaporised the medication delivering it in a similar way to a neb

Brain fog?
It's not medication, I'm hardly on any while I wait for appt (
tiotropium
, but no listed similar side effects and besides it was happening before I was on that). Just wondering if anyone else finds this is another hazard of asthma being out of control.

Need cheering up after seeing cons
I'm already on unlicensed amounts of ciclesonide and am taking
tiotropium
for asthma rather than COPD (as it is intended for). I just don't know what to do now - I've suspected for a while that I was on quite a lot of meds, but to be told that it's kinda the end of the road has hit me pretty hard.
