Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. My experiences as a patient.
After a spell in hospital about two years ago, I realised that Spiriva (
Tiotropium
Bromide, a 24hour controlled release drug), wasn't giving me the supposed 24 hour cover. In fact, I doubt I was even getting 16 hours.

Is anyone with CMT taking Tiotropium for COPD?
I am not sure about this medication and I have noted,it's not got good reports. Will discuss with my health provider, but thought I would ask the question here.

Hello all. About my COPD
Tiotropium
. A 12 hr one, Formoterol Easyhaler and Salamol for when I need it. To be honest, none of these seem to make any difference but maybe that's just my imagination. Any comments gratefully appreciated.

Cost of inhalers
Hi I have just been to Tenerife on holiday and realised I had left my Salmeterol at home - and taken three salbutamol, as well as my
tiotropium
. Much to my relief,I found a pharmacy where I could buy a Salmeterol inhaler over the counter - at a cost of 35 euros!

Is it time for a change??
I am wondering if this means that on top of the normal triggers, am i actually able to fully take my symbicort and
tiotropium
doses because you have to inhale deeply to make it work? Should i be trying something else?

Spirometry
I take
tiotropium
and serevent and the venotlin. Anyway, the nurse thought I needed a steroid inhaler but decided on doing the spirometry first. I am 50 and it came out age 27. So, I have to see my gp in a couple of weeks with a view to possibly reducing the inhalers ,but I am so worried.

New user - Spiriva/tiotropium and a locum doctor
Instead she's given me Spiriva/
tiotropium
to take on top of Seretide. Is this drug often prescribed for asthma? The leaflet etc. is all about COPD, and it's not something that any doctor has mentioned to me before.

Spiriva
Hey, I've been started on Spiriva (
tiotropium
) by my consultant, and I've got a few questions about it which I didnt get chance to ask my con (as my appointment had ran over by way too long), and was wondering if anyone could help; 1) Is spiriva the same as atovant?

Tiotropium
There are two parts to this question: Firstly, has anyone been prescribed
Tiotropium
for asthma and has it helped (I gather it's usually used for COPD) Secondly, my consultant today said that this now came with a brand new devise that vaporised the medication delivering it in a similar way to a neb

Brain fog?
It's not medication, I'm hardly on any while I wait for appt (
tiotropium
, but no listed similar side effects and besides it was happening before I was on that). Just wondering if anyone else finds this is another hazard of asthma being out of control.

Need cheering up after seeing cons
I'm already on unlicensed amounts of ciclesonide and am taking
tiotropium
for asthma rather than COPD (as it is intended for). I just don't know what to do now - I've suspected for a while that I was on quite a lot of meds, but to be told that it's kinda the end of the road has hit me pretty hard.
