Fostair
I take
tiotropium
once a day and was taking symbicort twice a day. Symbicort was substituted by Fostair 4 weeks ago. Since then I have been bothered with contstipation. I'm not sure if that is the cause or not. Has anyone else had this problem with Fostair

Further Questions - I hope you don't mind
She is currently using a 'Fostair' inhaler, 'Salamol' inhaler,
Tiotropium
and Acetylcysteine capsules - I've seen other posts where people are on different medications so am hoping my mums may get changed which will make an improvement. Any advice, reassurance or help would be greatly appreciated.

Asthma fine during exercise but rubbish afterwards?
Now it mostly behaves itself (on seretide and
tiotropium
and montelukast) except during pollen season when I need extra oral steroids and regular abx. One of the fab things is that I can now run even in cold weather.

Mrs Lynda Davies
The problem bothering me at present is that I use Salbutamol inhaler and Fostair and
Tiotropium
all through a spacer, I have repeated cycles of Oral and Viginal Thrush. This has been going on for at least 4 years, I am being treated with Flucomazole which, obvious to me, isn't doing the trick.

Left inhaler in UK
Hi everyone Somehow I have left my Spiriva (
Tiotropium
Bromide) inhaler in the UK when coming on holiday to the US. It's very expensive to go to a doctor here and with medication on top is likely to cost nearly £200. I have medical insurance but the excess is £100.

COPD Going Backwards ?
Around 33% of my lung capacity had been lost due to years of smoking and I was put on
Tiotropium
once a day, and Seretide twice a day inhalers. My condition has been monitored at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London, since my diagnosis, and needless to say I have given up smoking.

Worst things people have said/what not to say to someone with a lung condition
reducing the response of the WBCs, thus reducing inflammation; leukotriene receptor antagonists (montelukast, zafirlukast) block receptors in the lungs to chemicals called leukotrienes which, if they were to bind, would cause inflammation as part of the immune response; anticholinergics (ipratropium,

Can anyone help.
I have COPD and Lung Cancer and a friend told me there was a new treatment for COPD which is better than Spiriva (
Tiotropium
). I wondered if anyone had heard of it? Hope I've posted this on the right wall, apologies if I haven't.

Copd treatments
Also I have
Tiotropium
bromide (Spiriva) which I take once a day, a Ventolin inhaler which I take every time I move from my chair. I can only walk about 10 yards before I need to sit down or lean on something to get my breath back.

New Inhaler
If I am happy with it I just need to ask my GP to prescribe it to me in place of
Tiotropium
. Although you can still have a dry mouth with this inhaler it should be very much less than that caused by
Tiotropium
. I will start to use this Aclidinium inhaler tomorrow. Thérèse

then when l said the Ventolin l have does absolutely nothing now she said l must make apt with pulmonary nurse, and then l mentioned that neither the
tiotropium
or the carbocisteine are having any effect her answer was the same, then she tried to have a go at me asking why l had'nt had my 'copd review

*waves* Hello!
I've been on and off
Tiotropium
since April - I'd like to stay off of it as I've noticed the effect on my gums and teeth, but it might be pushing it too far as I've had a few more attacks when not on it.
