Surgery or should I wait?
All the doctors are offering me is a total
thyroidectomy
. As I am not at all good at taking any tablets, this worries me. Would I be justified in waiting until I developed symptoms before even considering surgery?

Undermedicated: what is going on here?
Comments were made, (in responsive to, blood results I had posted) suggesting I was undermedicated which I already knew due to symptoms (hypothyroid) induced by the fact that my thyroxine had been reduced (February 2020 to present date) from 100mcg to 75mcg despite me not having a thyroid gland due to

More thyroid lab and a rant....I want to give up!
I have battled for the past 4 years after my
thyroidectomy
to gain some resemblance of what I was prior to my surgery and Im seriously ready to just throw up a white flag and surrender because I just don’t know what else if anything I can do to try and right the wrong with my thyroid care.

Bone pain and tingling in fingers
I had a
thyroidectomy
18months ago and was put on 125mg of thyroxin daily, It was reduced after 8months to 100 on one day and 125mg alternate days. Due to COVID restrictions all my endo appointments were cancelled and my weight have increased alarmingly even through I have tried numerous diets.

Back from my appointment
For one, I was under the impression from the forum that TSH, particularly post-
thyroidectomy
TSH, is a poor indicator of...well, really much of anything.

Bad batches of Tiromel?
I have had a total
thyroidectomy
and only get on well with Tiromel, but recently I’m finding issues with it. Heard there was a bad batch but my batch is 20E479. Anyone else having issues?

Post thyroidectomy blood tests
Levothyroxine was increased 8 weeks ago to 150mcg from 125mcg following a total
thyroidectomy
in September. I still feel exhausted and have episodic tingling and aching in my legs. I got Medichecks results today which I include here and would welcome thoughts.

Will I ever stop regretting?
At least before my
thyroidectomy
I could recognise myself in the mirror, and I didn't totally hate the way my body looked, for starters.

Latest blood tests after 25mcg increase following total thyroidectomy
My GP increased my levothyroxine from 125 mcg to 150mcg in January following surgery in September. My results this week are Tsh0.19, T4 25 and T3 4.95. Lab states TSH is now below range and T4 over. My symptoms remain unchanged as hypothyroid and I have explained to my novice GP that my T 3 needs to

History of iodine, cretinism, hypo etc
Theodor Kocher observed that the clinical picture in patients after total
thyroidectomy
was similar to the one seen in cretinism. In 1850, the first case of hypothyroidism or myxedema was described. Less than 50 years later, effective treatment was introduced.

Can anyone help me interpret my thyroid test results please?
I had a
thyroidectomy
7 years ago. I was on ridiculously high meds until was also diagnosed with Coeliac. Now take 175 mg of levothyroxine last thing at night. My levels aren't perfect but they're haven't been leaping about for ages, but they are again now.

Hypothyroidism/undermedicated with adrenal problems. What should I treat first?
Put on levo after
thyroidectomy
1992 due to cancer. NHS endocrinologist always dosed me with "suppression" being their sole aim. However, long story made short, February 2020 levo was reduced to 75mcg (present dose)...."suppression" was no longer the endocrinologists goal.
