Surviving Metastatic Cancer.
Had lumpectomy and 28 radiations and 5 years with
tamoxifen
/arimidex. Last year cancer came back as Metastatic BC. Had 16 chemotherapy treatments, four surgeries included mastectomy. I was also told that I have lupus. My Journey ended one month ago with 33 radiations.

Ive not had periods since aprox 2007 due to my meds zolodex and
tamoxifen
. The reason I had this procedure done is because I started bleeding a couple mths ago ? I was just wondering how long can you bleed for after having this done ?

Tamoxifen & Ibrance
Would like to know if anyone on here is on this combination for treatment for stage IV met BC. I was on exemastane for 3.5 years but stopped working and this may be my new treatment plan. Any feedback would be appreciated.

It's back... ugh...I'm in the 6%
Attempted
Tamoxifen
, but I was allergic to it and since I was pre-menopause there was not an alternative. In 2011, I was diagnosed with ADH in my right breast, had a lumpectomy, no radiation. I have faithfully had annual mammograms every single year.

Just a bit of a heads up, i went for an eye test today for reading glasses and was told that i have to go back to see them if i start having problems with my central vision as
tamoxifen
can cause problems with your eyes, on top of everything else !!

Anyone with Pleomorphic ILBC??
The anti- hormone drugs Arimidex,
Tamoxifen
, Faslodex didn't help much even though I'm 95% ER+, Her2-. My new Oncologist put me on oral chemo pill Xeloda which brought my tumor markers down immediately. Now they're slowly rising.

Ovaries and tumor gone
Also, I have had breast cancer and was on
Tamoxifen
and the pathology indicated a high concentration of
tamoxifen
in my uterine tissue. Could this be the reason all of this occurred?

Surgery and tamoxifen?
I have now just had the thought that should I not have asked about whether to come off
tamoxifen
in the run up to op due to higher DVT risk, I'm sure I read it in someone's post few weeks back thats what they had been advised, I'm going to have to call tomorrow and ask surgery team but can anyone share

Is exercise advisable when B12 levels are still low?
Looking at the PA symptoms I tick many of the boxes and yet I kept thinking they were post chemo and or
tamoxifen
side effects, so a new diagnosis surprised me but explained a lot. I have had a monthly injection for the past two months and another due next month.

Uncomfortably Numb?
This Tuesday at SHARE's AI &
Tamoxifen

How do I get my head round this?
Hi Everyone, My treatment has been to remove the lump, have three weeks radiotherapy and, by choice give
tamoxifen
a go. I say by choice because I've been told it will only help me a little and the oncologists were split on whether I could just not bother.

So grateful
After the surgery, I declined radiotherapy and the
tamoxifen
. I optedfor natural supplements. I thought I would live to regret that decision but luckily I didn't xxx
