Hair loss
I'm taking
Tacrolimus
3x daily at 1mg each and am losing a lot of hair especially in the top. I have been taking biotin since before my Transplant six months ago. Lambdapil hair lotion was recommended by my Dermatologist but could not get a clear answer from my Transplant Team. Any suggestions?

Hydroxychlorquine associated hyperpigmentation is observed in up to 7% of Lupus patients.
A diagnosis of HCQ‐associated hyperpigmentation was made, and topical treatment with
tacrolimus
0.03% ointment bds was initiated. During 3 months of topical treatment under continuation of HCQ treatment, hyperpigmentation improved gradually (B).

Newbie with possible vasculitis
I've been started on
tacrolimus
and prednisolone for my AIH, but they want to change the
tacrolimus
to mycophenolate instead as this is better for vasculitis they said. My hives, headaches, joint pain and nerve weakness has all eased since I was restarted on the prednisolone at 20mg.

Tacrolimus, Covid-19
I have for some time been concerned (like a lot of people) how any covid-19 vaccine would work with
Tacrolimus
, my concerns where that any vaccine might inhibit the
tacrolimus
and thus making us more venerable to organ rejection.

Has anyone had a transplant without tac or cyclosporine?
As such, I was wondering whether it is possible to have a transplant without
tacrolimus
or cyclosporine, using other immunosuppression. Thanks.

Six weeks post and creatinine had sudden increase...
I had a lot of diarreaha for the first 2.5 weeks after transplant so my
Tacrolimus
was all over the place — as low as 4.9 and as high as 18.9. It's stabilized between 9-10 since gastro issue have resolved. As I keep seeing the numbers rise I'm getting a little freaked out.

Hi everyone, I started
Tacrolimus
(Oral) Prograf last week to help tackle my nephritis. Just wondering what side effect people found and if they carry on for the whole time or if it settles down?

This Might be Important!
Dear All, I have been 'on' Advagraf (
Tacrolimus
) since, July 2013, when I had My Transplant. I WAS aware that Grapefruit, and it's Juice, could Affect the Absorption Rate of this Drug.

How do you take your immunosuppressive meds?
I'm wondering how everyone else take their medicines such as
tacrolimus
or cyclosporine..siroliumus etc? Do you take yours with an empty stomach or with food? I take 2mg
tacrolimus
and it has to be on an empty stomach 3 hrs before taking it and 1 hr after. Then, I can eat again.
