I have been taking 75mcg of
Synthroid

Bizarre TSH reading after supplementing with 15 mg Iron to raise Ferritin Levels; TSH & Iron labs LOWER
In June, my following labs were as follows: (.75mcg
Synthroid
/ 2.5mcg T3) no iron supplementation (all B levels were in range, as were D and Folate) Total Iron 121 (45-160) Folate 21.8 (>5.4 normal) Ferritin 33 (20-288) too low/possible cause of hair

Timing of taking T3 before Blood Test
My previous Free T3 with just
Synthroid
was 2.5 (range 2.3-4.2). (I've already posted vitamins/iron, etc.) This is strictly about timing. I know NOT to take my Synthoid prior to labs.

Increase Synthroid?
Hi All, Just received a call from Endo to increase my
Synthroid
. I currently take 75mcg 5days a week and 88 mcg on weekends. The dr added 5 mcg T3 8 weeks ago. This is the best I have felt in a long long time.

Liothyronine/Cytomel dosage, timing, side effects
I have finally gotten my 5 mcg Cytomel (generic version) to add to my .75 mcg
Synthroid
in the hope of aiding insomnia, reset circadian rhythm, hair loss, mood swings, etc.

TSH still really high and causing anxiety
My Dr. started me on
Synthroid
50 mcg in January. I am now on an alternating dose of 50 mcg 3x week and 75 mcg 4x week. Dr. says to stay on this dose as my TSH is decreasing (although VERY slowly). The only symptom I am really still experiencing is mood swings.

New Blood Labs after adding Liothyronine - TSH looks better but Ferritin levels low. Have symptoms of low Ferritin but Iron is OK.
I had to pay out of pocket (I'm in the US). 3 weeks after adding 2.5 mcg of Liothyronine to my 75mcg
Synthroid
my TSH levels improved.

Very low TSH - T4 and T3 great levels
I tried, natural hormones,
Synthroid
, Levo by itself and none of those worked...I didn't convert T4 into T3...but now it seems to be working.

Hypothyroid symptoms back with a vengeance
I eventually ended at 137mcg
synthroid
and pieces of nature thyroid throughout the day as needed. Labs where alway normal but I had lingering depression and hypo symptoms. I could never increase my
synthroid
any higher than 137mcg without feeling bad.

Help with blood results, hypothyroid and adrenal insufficiency
I have had a bad reaction to
Synthroid
, Levo and Tirosint. Lately, I have not been feeling well, bad headaches, blurry eyes, sensitivity to light, joint and muscle pain, really tired, hungry but nausea, dry itchy skin, etc. Thanks for your thoughts and help.

Medications for increasing Free T3 and side effects?
Because my free T3 is on the low end (2.5), (I am on .75 mcg of
Synthroid
: TSH is 2.29 and have Hashimotos (69 is blood test reading - I am gluten free) and all my vitamin levels are in order, I thought of asking my dr to give me something to raise my T3.

Medicheck Results, help in interpreting please.
( Also last May I had ferratin of 750, went to see an endo, who did all the tests which all came back negative for possible causes, she did not seem open to the possibility that the
synthroid
maybe adding to the Ferratin high?)

What are your thoughts on RAI, thyrodectamy and potassium Iodide?
I started taking
synthroid
at very low doses. By the time my son was 3, I was taken off
synthroid
. I have had my thyroid levels checked every few months until now in 2019, in January when I became hyper again which I believe was due to a miscarriage at the end of November 2018.

Can total TSH labs change without dosage change?
I looked over the past 4 years of my TSH labs since I was always on .50 mcg
Synthroid
. Unfortunately I had a useless primary care dr order my TSH labs and she never told me not to take biotin, vitamins, etc. prior to test. Nor did she check my antibodies.
