Help, my pharmacy has given me DuoResp instead of Symbicort and I hate it?
I've been taking
Symbicort
for 6 years now and on Friday I got my repeat prescription filled as usual, only for the first time ever I was given DuoResp. I had other meds in the bag, wasn't expecting any product variations so I did not check.

Prednisolone and weight gain
This GP changed me to
symbicort
400 and each time I went back to her, which was every 2 weeks for 3 months, she persistently increased my dose until I was at 4 puffs, 4 times daily of
symbicort
400.

Dry mouth
Hi everyone, I take
symbicort

symbicort
can cause dry mouth so I always rinse after use but I still get a dry mouth especially at night.

Had to get the on call doctor out this afternoon and he has given me a prescription for clarithromycin antibiotic, told me to up the ventolin and
symbicort

Copd meds and afib
I have been treated with
symbicort
and tudorza pressair for about 1 and a half years. I'm just wondering if afib could have been brought on by these medications. Thought I'd see if anyone out there has experienced something similar. Any feedback is much appreciated. Thank you, and be well Barbara

Going from cold to hot
I have spoken to my dr who upped my
symbicort
dose and I have just finished a 6 week course of preds. I thought maybe I was having panic attacks because I was worrying about it but I had it happen when I went to the drs once and he confirmed it was asthma.

Is it really asthma?
I'm 62 now, and on
Symbicort
(which gives me horrendous leg and foot cramps every night). I've been put on several different inhalers at times, had various tests, tried a nebuliser etc, but nothing improves my peak flow. It remains around 250, even after Ventolin.

Constantly needing my inhaler, always coughing
There's not much she can do if I haven't given the
symbicort
time to work. And what if I need my inhaler but holding my breath for ten seconds makes me feel faint and everything go dark?

Symbicort vs Seretide for copd
I am now back on
Symbicort
and all that gasping for breath has stopped! The Seretide had made my breathing worse than ever. Has anyone else had this adverse effect with Seretide?
