Let's hope it works -the
Spiriva
seems good, on the basis that I really notice if the bloody Handihaler stops working (great drug, not convinced by device). Sorry for ramble, brain reallly not working atm hehe.

Palpitations with Atrovent/Spiriva vs Ventolin
My cons had me taking Atrovent for preference over Ventolin; he was considering
Spiriva
if I am still not controlled after this pred course of 4 weeks. Then when I was admitted a few weeks ago the resp reg decided to start
Spiriva
anyway (and is emailing my cons).

Atrovent and Spiriva?
Hi, My gp has just changed me over to
spiriva
to take once a day from atrovent 4 times a day. Was wondering whether anyone has any experiences as whether it has helped get more control? I have been told that the
spiriva
replaces atrovent as it is a long acting version of the same drug.

Different meds
I do make sure I do not take other inhalers (
spiriva
) at the same time but give them a break before using the next one.

Spots on my arms - Side Effects?
I am on Aminophylline, Carbosisteine, Symbicort,
Spiriva
and Erythromycin. The spots look like acne. Has anyone else had similar? They don't itch but they do seem to be increasing. James.

Snakes and Ladders
Cons doesn't approve of Ventolin so if I can't have Atro as well as
Spiriva
not sure what I'd do (Bricanyl maybe?) -Anything else I could ask about?

Great news on swollen ankles and feet
Switched from
Spiriva
to Eklira inhaler and as if by magic in less than 3 days my very puffy ankles and feet are back to more or less normal most of the time ! :)) hmm .... room for thought there.

When to take nebs
By the way, I'm on so many drugs at the moment - Aminophylline, carbocisteine, Erythromycin, symbicort and
spiriva
. Is this normal (well, as normal as can be I suppose) or is the hospital not sure what's happening so they threw everything at me? James.

Starting a family with brittle asthma
This includes the antibiotic (amriymicin) and
spiriva
/tiatropiam (both spelt wrong). They also tried to stop singlair but that put me straight into ICU for a few days. My questions are has anyone taken singulair through pregnancy as it looks like I can't stop that one?
