Aches and pains
My husband does not complain of any pain unless he has an infection. I think perhaps you should go back to the doctor. Or ring the BLF helpline - the might be able to give you advise to help you talk to the doctor. Take care. TAD x
I had a tightness around my chest it often felt like I had an elephant sitting on me. When my I explained to my consultant she increased my seritid from 125 to 250 and that helped I don't have that feeling anymore. Don't know if this is the type of pain you're experiencing.
I have COPD but no pain. I think TADAW gives good advice; try ringing the BLF on 03000 030 555. They are open 10 - 6, Monday to Friday.
Something can always be done about pain...the problem with pain medicines are side effects. If you can find something that helps you manage the pain without causing you other problems then do it!! I find steam often helps me!
Good advice above but feel you need to have a conversation with your gp/ practice nurse above.

Hi Kad21,
I am sorry you are experiencing pain when you breathe each day. I would do as suggested and give the BLF helpline a call.
I only get pain when I breathe very cold air or when my airways have narrowed and I am trying to achieve brisk walking or attempting an uphill slope. Other than that I would get pain when I had a lung infection.
If you have a lung infection you need to get that treated asap. Check with the helpline for symptoms.
Take good care
BC.
