I have just been reading about Eklira Genuair. Has anyone noticed an improvement having changed from Spiriva to Eklira ??

I am at severe stage of COPD and almost continually breathless. I also use Budesonide and Nuelin

I recently made the change. It was forced on me because of side effects from the Spiriva. Can't say I have noticed much difference in the efficacy of each.

I'm also stage 4 and was worried about changing but right from the first dose I found it suited me better than spiriva. It's an improvement for me. Hope it is for you

Thanks for info.

I switched from spiriva to Eklira a month ago ... and am finding am bit less breathless and less tired and able to do so much more. My ankles and feet and even legs were swelling more and more with spiriva .... now perfectly normal ... helped also by watertabs that had not helped when on spiriva. Am annoyed I didn't know to switch earlier as my oxygen SATs had been realy good on exercise and now aren't ... I think a result of side effects of spiriva ... a corpulmonary? problem the doc told me recently.

Changed from Spiriva to Eklira Genuair but have been put back on Spiriva as l have not got enough puff to take the dose. (inhaler will not click if you don't take the dose in properly)'

I am on Eklira Genuair and Fostair NEXThaler and find them both great - easy to use - easy to know you have the correct dose = and really helps my breathing so good luck xx
