Sinemet
Had anyone found a difference between the generic carb/levo and sinemet? Besides the price? I'm taking the generic and get a lot of mucous and swallowing problems after i take it.

Azilect and Sinemet
I tried to take selegeline with sinemet 25/100 4xday. I quit after a week because the dyskinesia was so bad. My neuro did not discuss with me how or when to reduce the sinemet. I would like to try it again. I felt better motor skills. The sinemet lasted much longer. Does anyone have experience with this

Sudden worsening of symptoms
Has anybody suffered sudden worsening? Until May this Year I was on Sinemet 62.5 mg 4 times a day, Requip 5mg and Azilect. My only problem was fatigue, but my mobility was good, so my nurse advised me to gradually double my Sinemet to 125 mg 4 times daily. I was fine on this until a couple of weeks

Does anyone have a good experience with Sinemet?
Everyone talks about all the horrible side effects of Sinemet and how their loved one is much better without it! S has been on it now for over a year and I can only say good things. His movement is a lot better now, than it was before, allowing for PSP taking it's toll. They have just given him some

Addicted to Sinemet?
Hi all - I think I mentioned in a previous post that my dad was "abusing" his Sinemet, to the point of being dangerously overmedicated. Is it possible to be "addicted" to Sinemet and if so, can you wean off of it and get back to "normal"? My dad had DBS last Friday, and although his program director

Diagnosed 5+ years no exercise program...
Would like to hear from those with PD for 5+ years and not on a regular exercise program. Diet is OK but nothing structured. Taking Sinemet, Exelon, Nemenda and Selegiline. I'm tired of exercising when I don't want to and not sure if it helps. I have no faith in my Doctors. "Practicing" is now a bad

Trouble with Sinemet dosing
Diagnosed with tremor intensive PD 2001. Started Sinemet end 2012, 3x100mg /d as I was getting weaker. I sailed along OK for about one year, then suddenly one to two hours after taking a dose I would go into almost a convulsion like state with intense tremor and weakness. I learned that I was not allergic

What color lessens your PD symptoms ............... Yellow, Green, Blue, or Red?
I read how seeing certain colors can a influence brain chemicals and did this simple experiment. 1. Find a quantitative way to measure your PD symptoms. For me, I rotate a tennis ball between my thumb and fingers using my left hand (where my PD is worse). Then I count the rotations I can do in 30
