getting Q-var (or other inhalers) online
I am officially on
Seretide
500 as the maintenance inhaler. However, I also found that adding qvar 100 helped bring my PF up by another 5%. I had qvar 100 lying around (from a year ago), so I started taking it too.

Sinusitis link to asthma
On the plus side I recently changed from Flutiform to
Seretide
preventer and it's definately making me less wheezy- my main trigger is fumes (exhausts, cigarette smoke, or even frying/burnt food fumes!)

Peak flow increased by inhalers
I used to take
seretide
2 puffs twice a day, and ventolin when needed. My peak flow used to be at my very best 360, but for a long time 250 - 270 was my max. Since being changed to different inhalers, I've felt a huge improvement and this also is shown through my peak flow increasing.

Swapping inhalers soon after asthma flare up
I have been prescribed Pred and the specialist has recommended changing my inhaler from
Seretide
which does not seem to be working to Symbicort 200/6. Is it safe to start on the new one when still unwell? Thank you in advance

Fostair - are you losing your voice? Side effect
I'm new here and was told to "add an image to bring your post to life", so here is an image of the good old days, my pre-

I am powerless
I tried Fostair, Symbicort,
Seretide
, Flutiform, Spiriva respimat. Nothing helps me. I have to take ventolin 2-4 times a day. I have shortness of breath and my chest is wheezing. Two days ago I had a meeting with a consultant and he said that he couldn't write anything new for me.

Seretide and spiriva respimat
I have been taking
seretide
250 for three months. Today my doctor prescribed an additional spiriva respimat inhaler. Do any of you also have such a set of inhalers and after how long did your asthma improve? Thanks in advance for all answers.

Mattress for dust mite-induced asthma
The HEPA tent (together with pred, singulair,
seretide
and qvar) keeps me alive for now; I could not step outside the tent into the living room for 2 weeks, w/o wearing a respirator -- until the pred and the singulair kicked in.

Switch to MART fostair from seretide
Having been on
seretide
250mg for a good few years, as well as added in spiriva respimat, fexofenadine, montelukast and nasal spray (recent change to dymista), have been switched onto fostair 100/6 MART. According to my plan, its 2 puffs twice daily, plus an extra 4 as and when.

Duo Resp Spiromax
I was taking
seretide
for years and then went on to Fostair which was no good. In previous years I have been short of breath for several weeks from March until end of June. I have had the odd blip which lasted a few days. I take more medication for my asthma, ABPA and bronchiectasis.

Seretide to Fostair?
I switched from
Seretide
250 (1 puff twice a day) to Fostair 100/6 (2 puffs twice a day). However... ...Since switching, my cough has got worse (still worse in the morning and now going on throughout the day as well) and I've had a general feeling of (mild but constant) chest tightness.

Going back to seretide?
But none have been as good as
seretide
in terms of controlling my exercise induced asthma, and peak flow. Has anyone had any success arguing to go back on it? Thanks

This Seretide with Spacer Technique has worked just fine for me for 30 years now.
Commenced
Seretide
at about age 40 in 1990 - always with a spacer. Here's what I have always done, since Day 1 - the patient leaflet does not suggest anything like this.
