Hi all I am back
I back on my higher dose of
Seretide
250 mg two puffs twice a day today in preparation of back to school bugs etc. I went to see my asthma nurse Thursday told her what I wanted to do and she was quite happy. My asthma is rock solid in spring/summer but autumn/winter are my danger times.

I am on prednisolone,
seretide
and salbumatol at present but recently I have been getting really out of breath whenever I eat, I'm so tired all of the time, my heart races constantly, I shake and feel dizzy, my chest is always tight like someone is sitting on my chest and I can't even walk to the shop

Stopped meds
I used to take sririva and
seretide
by t stopped of my own accord about nine months or more ago. The only things I use now are my puffer of ventalin and mucrodone to soften mucus. I do have a nebulizer which I use now and again.

FOSTAIR
Hi Folks, I was at rehab yesterday and someone mentioned that instead of a
Seretide
inhaler he has changed to Fostair and finds it much better for him in a few ways. Has anyone done the same thing ? and what do you think of it. Thanks.

Tilade or Intal inhalers and exercise
I have severe asthma, although it's usually 'controlled' during the week (as in, I'm not routinely having to use my reliever) with Spiriva Respimat,
Seretide
, and Montelukast, I still struggle a lot at ice hockey on Friday-Sunday.

Newbie having a tough time
I ended up having 3 weeks of 40mg a day prednisilone, two weeks of clarythromicin followed by 2 weeks of dioxycycline, and was put on
seretide
250, 2 puffs twice a day. I was seng for a chest xray that thankfully came back clear and after all this my asthma calmed down.

Waiting for a referral
I've generally been well controlled since the better preventers came out (simbicort /
seretide
). The last few years I've had a chronic cough, most often producing a lot of sputum. I've had a lot of chest infections too. This year things have got worse.

Seretide causing tremor?
Has anyone else noticed this when jumping up to higher dose of
seretide
? It's a little surprising to me because the salmeterol component of my
seretide
250 and 100 is the same (25mg) and it's just the fluticasone component that is stronger.

When is it an 'asthma attack'?
I'm getting these symptoms most days which is why I went to see my gp last week but I was told my pf was Ok, and to carry on with my
seretide
as usual. Well my friend seemed really concerned.
