I am on a gluten-free diet, dairy free and take supplements :- Magnesium citrate 100mg (3 tablets daily)
Selenium
200ug Omega 3, 6 and 9 Vegan multivitamin and mineral On the whole I do not experience many 'flare up's since following the above changes.

I take
selenium
and zinc daily to help T4-T3 conversion but feel I still need the ndt. I have been doing blood tests with Medichecks to check my levels and they suggest I see a doctor- fat chance they are useless. Can’t get nature-throid now so on np-thyroid ndt 1/2 gr daily with 50levo daily.

Hashimotos sufferers
Hashimotos sufferers I started taking
selenium
because this helps damp down an over zealous immune system. Taking levothyroxine is just tackling the symptoms and not the cause, and I do feel it has made a difference.

100-150mcg of T3 but STILL COLD AND TIRED
Other supplements I take are magnesium, iodine,
selenium
, l-tyrosine, and an all-round multivitamin. I am not at the financial means to start working with a functional medicine doctor. So please, does anyone have any idea wtf might be going on.

Internal Tremors
In addition, something as simple as eating one too many Brazil nuts (
selenium
) has the power to send me into a quivering bowl of Jello. An overdose of
selenium
is quite capable of doing that to anyone. Rather than take a daily vitamin, I pick and choose.

What is the best vitamin combination for someone with hypothyroidism ?
I've tried vitamin d and eat Brazil nuts for
selenium
. Was thinking of going to Holland and Barrett tomorrow and investing in some vits . By reading a lot of comments on this site I'm thinking of something with iron, vit d, zinc, vit c and b12 . Do I get a multivitamin? Or do I buy separate?

News that worried us and studies that gave us hope (04/2022).
The deterioration typical of natural ageing is confused with one that is aggravated by multiple deficiencies (vitamin C, D, zinc,
selenium
, magnesium...) and an unnatural lifestyle (often due to external causes unrelated to the patients: environmental pollutants, medicines that cause Parkinsonism, etc

Blood test help
I also take Vitamin D, C, K2 mk7,
Selenium
, magnesium and usually take B complex, although have ran out and need to re-start. I am aware that I should fast and avoid my thyroid medication for so long before my blood test, but she tested me at my appointment one afternoon.

Supplements
Hi I am currently taking Vit D(with K2),
Selenium
and Omega's as that is what I am deficient in. My Iron is also low but this is inconsistent as sometimes it can be within range, I'm waiting for an appointment for Iron tests.

New Doctors Report from Medichecks!
Although not tested here you may wish to consider checking your Zinc or
Selenium
levels or taking an over counter supplement for these as these are needed for thyroxine to T3

The end of Parkinson's as we know it today. From the Levodopa era to the "transformative" information era.
We cannot continue without introducing Mucuna (with or without carbidopa); homocysteine reduction with vitamins B2, B6, B9 and B12; the use of sublingual vitamin B12; substances that raise glutathione as well as providing innumerable benefits (alpha lipoic acid, vitamin C,
selenium
, turmeric, etc.);
