Beneficial supplements?
But, I haven't gotten any real useful advice from the doctors as to what to take, except for telling me to stop taking my daily multi, prostate formula (beta-sistosterol,
saw
palmetto
, etc,) and any anti-oxidants (i.e Ester-C).

Pathos Report from Transurethral Urinary Bladder Tumor Resection
Finishing the surgery, my urologist thought the bladder tumors were entirely superficial and it shouldn’t affect my status for getting a lung transplant (the parameters are cancer free, smoke free for at least two years). Turns out some were low grade, but some were high grade (actively growing). Very

Diagnosed 2013, surg, March 2014 surg for two more small tumors, BCG treatments 6, then 6 more, fast forward to scope last month, so far no CA. Great physician and care. Kept the faith. 👍🏻

Back to Mitomycin not BCG
Hi everyone Just to update I had my second turbt (7 in total) after the reoccurrence on Monday. I’m happy to say that there’s no new growth and the path report was NED 😀as the previous one was so small and G1 I’ve been recommended to continue with 3 monthly check ups and mitomycin. A relief I must

The FM/a test....I got my results.
I got the results of my FM/a blood test. I called and although they have mailed me and my doctor the results the lady in the lab gave them to me verbally over the phone. With 50-100 being indicative of fibro my score was 96. I knew I was pretty messed up, and I guess I am. The lady asked me "how

Natural Checkpoint Inhibitors?
Any decent research out there on "natural" checkpoint inhibitors? I am guessing they exist. Perhaps IP-6 or Curcumin is a "checkpoint " inhibitor? Also wondering if there is I any respectable research on 4-MU which apparently is used quite a bit in Europe. I am also curious about BCG vaccine. My father

I had my blood drawn for the FM/a fibro test.
I had my FM/a blood test done Tuesday and it was shipped overnight to Los Angeles. I should know the results in 7-10 days (I hope). As I wrote in a previous post if I test positive for fibro then I will be able to get the BCG vaccine (a variation of the tuberculosis vaccine when the FDA approves the

I've applied for the FM/a blood test.
Thanks to another member of this forum who posted information about the BCG tuberculosis vaccine clinical trials coming up I was able to research the FM/a test so I decided to apply for it online. The BCG theory sounds very promising to me. My daughter had sent me an email years ago with her theory

Reoccurrence despite mitomycin
Hi everyone I’m sorry to say my recent cystoscopy revealed two tiny tumours. It would have been two years clear so I was devastated. I know this tends to come back but we all hope it’s not going to. Next turbt (#5) is in two weeks. Anyone have something similar happen? I’d been on mitomycin monthly

New research showing that a BCG vaccination may help Type 1’s lower their average blood glucose level
Has anyone seen this research paper or similar suggesting that the BCG vaccination may help lower blood glucose in tyoe 1 diabetics? If confirmed it throws more light on why people get Type 1 and may offer hope if a future treatment. Potential mechanism for BCG vaccine reversal of type 1 diabetes: Data

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Licorice (Liquorice) (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.).
Interest in licorice use against PCa was spurred by its inclusion in the PC-SPES formula (chrysanthemum, isatis, licorice, Ganoderma lucidum, Panax pseudo-ginseng, Rabdosia rubescens,
saw
palmetto
, and scutellaria).

PCOS story
I am trying
saw
palmetto
which interferes with my cycles. I sometimes get inter menstrual bleeding with this. My bleeding although regular is heavy and has blood clots. My Gp prescribed transanemic acid. Again this wrong as it can cause DVT.

Natural supplements & Low Oestrogen (?)
I've read about evening primrose oil,
saw
palmetto
, fenugreek, turmeric/curcumin, cinnamon, maca, inositol and vitex. However, would it be crazy to take ALL of these on top of the ones I take? That's a lot of stuff to take everyday forever.

I'm new here
I've been taking tamsulosin a couple years and I've been taking selenium and
saw
palmetto
for 6 months, multivit for 45 years. I'm concerned about the SELECT study findings for selenium but it does seem to help with sleep and nocturnal urination. I'm looking for suggestions/experience.
