Asthma flare up
PF still same as when came in, nobody wants to know that had to take my
salbutamol
, or pf readings. Really feel better going home, and if it flares up again once I move and do things, come back and start again.

How do you clean inhalers (not spacers)...if you're clumsy & drop them somewhere grubby?!
Hi there, I may be the clumsiest of asthmatics but wonder what you tend to do if you drop your inhaler (
salbutamol
/clenil modulite types) somewhere grubby and the canister pops out too. I tend to wash the main unit well with hot soapy water but don't know what to do about the canister part.

I am taking BREO Ellipta & Spiriva in the mornings, also
Salbutamol
HFA 100UG when needed. Now I have had these these two flareups. First one was about a year ago. I just woke up finding it really hard to breathe, like I had a band rapped around my chest & had these really bad coughing fits.

CAN’T TOLERATE ALBUTEROL INHALERS - ALTERNATIVES? LOOKING FOR INFO/IDEAS.
Has anyone not been able to tolerate any Albuterol based inhalers due to tachycardia and arrhythmia issues? This has happened twice - and I am wondering what the alternative options are to these Albuterol based inhalers?

Has This Happened to You?
Hi all. New to this site but handful you’re here. Looking for feedback on my incident. 1/7 woke up with bitter gurgling in my throat. Coughed and coughed. Finally subsided. 1/8 woke up sore all over ( the coughing spasm?). Could not be off my oxygen for more than 5 min without acute breathlessness.

Food stuck in pharynx-Albuterol tx
This has happened a few times in the past couple of months with me. It happened one time about two years ago as well. I attribute it to increased phlegm production and thicker mucus from the COPD getting worse. The first time I waited it out. A vitamin B complex pill lodged itself neatly

She was in with pneumonia in early September, and has been ill again twice since (every three weeks), but we’ve managed to keep her out of hospital by using
salbutamol
at home (4-6 puffs every 4 hours) . She’s been ill now for 8 days will a cough, fever and wheeze.

Can one become dependent on nebulized albuterol, instead of rescue puff inhalers ? I seem to be gasping for air every 4 hours even worse. TY

My 62 year old daddy on a ventilator from covid complications and lung scarring.
My dad has been fighting covid pneumonia for almost 4 weeks now. He has been on the ventilator for 15 days requiring 90-100% with very fast breaths(BiLevel). He is able to keep his stats in the 90s right now. The doctors say he now has lung scarring which can't be corrected. He is on dialysis now as

The only help I have are sprays of saline with eucalyptus drops 3 times a day, and very rarely the use of
salbutamol
via nebulizer. Now, after almost 4 years the situation has not absolutely worsened, on the other hand I have not suffered any side effects.

Early days. What might have caused my tinnitus? A Salbutamol inhaler, a wisdom tooth extraction?
The next day my GP gave me a
Salbutamol
inhaler to help with my newest health problem - which we think is moderate COPD. The tooth extraction itself went okay, but I had bad pain in my jaw and ear - left hand side - which took a full month to fade away.

Coughing Fits
Taking a few puffs of
Salbutamol
calms it down. I find it difficult to do a peak flow reading during them as the action triggers more coughing. Once started, I find these coughing fits will be on and off for a few days. Are they mini asthma attacks?

The diagnosis was made as my FEV1 was 88% and showed a positive reversibility following

Desperate mama
My almost 5 year old son started with coughing symptoms at night around the age of 2, he sleeps soundly until about 12AM-2AM and then wakes up with forceful persistent coughs, mostly when a cold is circulating in the house. He was on so much prednisone and eventually we started a preventative inhaler
