Asthma & Chest Infection
I went on the nebuliser (
salbutamol
) for a short period of time, which only helped my PF a small amount. On the Tuesday, 2 days later, I went to my doctors (as requested by A&E).

SOB but peak flow doesn't change and asthma tests don't show anything severe
The doctors said that the SOB might be related to my reflux sypmtoms (They gave me pills against reflux) After I went back home I pretty much had SOB all day and went to my GP, which gave me a
Salbutamol
inhaler. That sometimes helps but at best only for 2 hours.

Pain in ribs on my back and peak flow is down
For my asthma, I am on fostair 200/6);
salbutamol
(biggest dose you can) - 2 puffs as and when I need it; and also montelukast (20mg) at night. Does anyone have any advice on what this might be or can advice me on what actions I should take next.

Bronchiectasis Breathlessness and Fatigue...any thoughts..
She is in
salbutamol
, carbosteine ( does anyone have skin rashes with this) and 3 weekly AB. Not under any consultant . Stronger course of AB just started as GP suspects infection ( telephone appoint). Oxygen ranges 91 to 96. Sometimes gasps for air. Lives alone and think understandably frightened.

Post steroud wean or Ipratropium side effects? - nausea, dizziness, fatigue
Or could it be due to the added nebules (I take ipratropium and
salbutamol
3-4 times daily) Any advice gratefully received. Many thanks, Michelle x

Peak flow readings
The GP also gave me
Salbutamol
but I haven’t used that yet? (I already take 11 tablets a day so I’m reluctant to add more medication if it can be avoided) Thank you, kind regards David

Colistimethate sodium powder for use in a nebuliser mixed with Salbutamol instead of Saline.
The other day I noticed I had ran out of saline so I had to used one of my
salbutamol
solutions to mix it. Will this have been ok? Has anyone else had to do this before? I just want to make sure. Kind regards as always Joe x

Anyone have experience with symbicort? Being swapped to it as apparently they are trying to reduce salbutamol use?
I'm currently on Fostair 1 puff twice a day and ventolin but she said with current guidelines they are trying to reduce the amount of
salbutamol
use as its better to have more inhaled steroids for asthma control? I thought
salbutamol
was less damaging to the body long term than inhaling steroids?

Why are my SATS at 98 when my chest feels heavy and coughing
I've been on four times daily
salbutamol
2.5mg since admission, and adding in Ipratropium 5mg dropping to 2.5mg for the last 3 days since Monday.

Post steroid wean
I only had 1 full on attack, after which they added in Ipratropium nebs along with my
salbutamol
nebs four times a day, which seemed to help (I'm already on fostair 200/6 and spiriva respimat). They have discharged me on these too.

Dealing with Mucus
A brief summary of my condition is: - 32 Years old - Chronic cough with mucus congestion - Prescribed Fostair,
Salbutamol
and Spiriva Respimat but all have failed to help - Regularly have to take Co-Codamol for pains associated with cough - Bought a nebulizer and use 0.9% saline solution which helps

Singer with Severe/Brittle Asthma (non-allergic)
I'm currently on 184/22 Relvar Ellipta and
Salbutamol
after trying every other inhaler available. They didn't work and made it even worse; Relvar now works but the GP says it's the strongest medication they have that works for non-allergic asthma.

Diagnosed with suspected Asthma after having Covid
My daughter had just been given a
Salbutamol
for her newly diagnosed Asthma but then we both ended up on Steroid & reliever inhalers. It was so scary & still is. Due to Covid, nobody seems to know what damage has been done. I've had 2 chest xrays which came back normal.

Significant reduction in Ventolin inhaler use after Astra Zenica Covid vaccination.
I had my first Astra Zenica covid vaccination about a month ago so after a lifetime of Ventolin and/or
Salbutamol
inhaler use, I do not see how it can be a coincidence that my reliance on the aforementioned inhalers has gone from several times a day to maybe once a week or less.

Obstructive asthma or Asthma - COPD overlap - confused
Peak flow best is 250 - 200 I feel ok on this with help of
salbutamol
in the day. Apparently been like this a couple of years, before that I was between 380-350. I also take seretide 500 twice a day, I did go down to 250 but that increased the
salbutamol
usage.

Anyone had an asthma attack made worse by using Salbutamol?
And some of the symptoms I was having was a side effect of the
Salbutamol
along with panic. This was a relief but I am now scared to use my
Salbutamol
inhaler too much if I have an attack again as it feels like it made my breathing worse.
