Asthma U.K. advice on seeking urgent care
I really dislike that
salbutamol
usage is used as an indicator. Anyone else?

Recent weather affecting asthma/
Luckily, I only (rarely) need things like steroids (Prednisolone) after a chest infection usually in the colder months and need my blue reliever (
Salbutamol
) occasionally.

Asthma vs Anxiety vs Breathing Pattern Disorders
All relieved by reliever (
salbutamol
or MART) in the early stages, later stages reliever may not have the same bounce back/length of time it lasts, but should have some effects (at this point you call an ambulance).

Hospital admission bad asthma with no wheeze
But to my surprise the doctor looking after me could see I was struggling and not responding well to
Salbutamol
nebs. ITU was mentioned. My husband managed to explain that I don't always wheeze and why, die to lower airway inflammation.

The nurse said it was good that I had given up and did help myself by doing this,I was given ANORO ELLIPTA to be taken once a day but also
SALBUTAMOL
if I REALLY needed. My partner also has C.O.P.D. so knows more about it than me.

Lost control of my asthma
Had several puffs of
Salbutamol
and the cold weather just made me so tight none of it was going in.๐จ I just feel like I am stuck in a perpetual state of rubbish asthma control. I am due to see my respiratory consultant for results of allergy testing and CT scan in a couple of weeks.

Using saline with neb for cough
Also my chest feels a bit tight despite taking
salbutamol
. I am not wheezing and my chest is clear. I was wanting to know if using saline only in the neb would be likely to help or make matters worse.

Xolair Approved!
At the final dose, my lung function had only dropped by 16% (not the 20% or greater that is required to โpassโ) but interestingly, once the test had ended and as the nurse was prepping a
salbutamol
nebuliser to reverse any symptoms, my chest became incredibly tight and I couldnโt finish my sentences

Breathlessness
Last summer it was a bit of an issue, but I could manage it well with
salbutamol
if going for an uphill walk. But now it has become ridiculous! At home I am ok, but I am now having to brace myself to walk from a to b outside.

When to take salbutamol?
I know this is a strange question from a life long sufferer but at what point does everyone take their rescue inhaler? What got me thinking was if my GP asked me at the moment how often I take my inhaler I would say I wheeze a few times a week. However there are times when I feel chesty, PF drop and
