New(ish) to Asthma with erratic peak flow
At present I’m taking Seretide 250 Evohaler (2 puffs, morning and evening about 12 hours apart) and
Salamol
Easi-breathe (up to 2 puffs, twice daily in between the Seretide). My peak flow was levelling out nicely but is now quite erratic – although usually staying within the Green level.

Hi All i have been using Symbicort 400 for ages at 4 puffs per day and although using it since it first came in i found it helped i really feel that i am now having too many break through periods of asthma symptoms and having to depend on

Adult Onset Flu after Chest Infection and Flu Vaccine
I started off taking clenil modulite and
salamol
, I did not respond well to the high alcohol content in the clenil so then changed to seretide and ventolin accuhalers.

Brittle Asthma and VCD
This wasn't prevented even with being on prednisolone 30mg a day, seretide 250, flixotide 250, singulair 10mg, regular
salamol
nebs. I was pretty much a mystery to the medical profession as why this had come so out of the blue. I was diagnosed as having brittle asthma.

I think I have asthma but not officially diagnosed yet.
She prescribed a
Salamol
easi-breath inhaler and my very own Peak Flow Meter (which I've called Rodger). The chemist was very kind and demonstrated how to use the inhaler and my PF reading was 510 after two puffs. I felt much better and made me realise that I'd not been feeling well for some time.

Ventolin, versus generic sabutamol
Just returned with my repeat prescription gear and have been given
Salamol
Inhaler instead of the Ventolin that I usually get. Is it effective as Ventolin?

GP dictating brand of Salbutamol Sulphate
Today I got a letter advising they are changing my repeat prescription from Salbutamol Sulphate 100 to
Salamol
Inhaler 100. Obviously it is the same ingrediants, dosage etc but I was wondering can they do this and why are they doing this now? My guess is
Salamol
is a cheaper brand.

Hi I'm new to all this
I am on 2 inhalers (beclazone 100, and
salamol
, montelukast tablets, nasonex nasal spray and anti-histamines) I feel like a walking chemist! The anti-histamines seem to have calmed my cough which is great.

Recurrent adult asthma
After about a month I went to my GP who started me on Qvar and
Salamol
. My symptoms have persisted all through the summer. I felt it was maybe hay fever related as I generally get itchy eyes through the summer. However, now the wheezing has continued into winter.

At the moment we only have a flame design inhaler case which can carry a accuhaler and the
salamol
easi-breath but there will be more added once my card reader is working.

Help / Advice ! ?
I was to carry on using the nebuliser during the day, but she asked me to try and go the night with just the
Salamol
, and that if I managed that then they would be happy to discharge me on the Saturday, as clearly I was improving.
