Salbutamol?

Why do different companies which make relievers taste different?

I've had salamol and ventolin salbutamol which taste completely different, it's the same drug isn't it?

(salamol was much nicer :P)

I guess it's the propellant they use - makes a difference what's in that it seems. Atrovent tastes foul because of the ethanol (I can't remember why it has ethanol but it does).

btw, am I the only one who thinks the perfume CK Be smells like Ventolin? I quite like the other CK perfumes but when I picked that one up a few years ago (pre this round of asthma) it was like being 7 again and having Ventolin! Put me right off.

yeah Ventolin isn't nice, you'd think they would make something you have to take often taste half decent

I'm on Clenil preventer which doesn't taste half bad, but the taste got worse when I went up in dose... can't win! haha :)

I like the taste of ventolin!!!
