Carbohydrate restriction has a more favorable impact on the metabolic syndrome than a low fat diet.
Serum
retinol
binding protein 4 has been linked to insulin-resistant states, and only the CRD decreased this marker (-20%). The findings provide support for unifying the disparate markers of MetS and for the proposed intimate connection with dietary carbohydrate.

Retinoic acid receptor–related orphan receptor γ (ROR-γ) & the Androgen Receptor (AR)
Expecting a single receptor for
retinol
. I discovered that there was a retinoic acid receptor [RAR] & a retinoid X receptor [RXR] & that each come in three flavors [alpha, beta & gamma], & with up to four splice variants.

An interesting fact about vitamin A and thyroid funtion.
Sources of preformed vitamin A (called
retinol
) include butterfat, egg yolks, liver and other organ meats, seafood and fish liver oils. Provitamin A or carotene is also a powerful antioxidant. It is found in all yellow, red, orange or dark green fruits and vegetables.

Professor Malcolm Maden, of the Medical Research Centre for Developmental Neurobiology at King's College, London,
British scientists have found that retinoic acid, a derivative of vitamin A, can reverse damage caused to the lungs by the previously incurable disease. (Q) Is there any research being carried out on human as there are on mice?

Inflammatory Disease? Cut back on some of certain foods can help.
It should contain no iron (unless you are a female and having regular menstrual periods) and no preformed vitamin A (
retinol
). Take these supplements with your largest meal.
