Has anyone taken Relugolix from start and no injections of ADT ?
Is
relugolix
reliable as compared to the adt injections ? Has anyone been only on that and not the injections ? How soon does it bring the testosterone levels down as compared to the injections ?

Constipation is a known issue with the Orgovyx
I've been on Orgovyx (
Relugolix
) for around 2.5 years now. and find myself getting increasingly constipated. It's the most tenacious SE. My labs are all stable and my PSA is stable at <0.02. But I'm now on 4 types of laxatives and next am planning on getting an enema and trying that.

Switching from Lupron to Ogovyx
Has anyone here switched to Orgovyx (
relugolix
) pills from Lupron shots? Is it advisable to do so? Is there a huge cost differential?

Building Bones and Shrinking Moobs
Started transdermal estradiol (0.0375 mg) in November 2023 to counter negative effects of ADT (
relugolix
and abiraterone) on bone density. Increased the estradiol to 0.075 mg in January 2024 which accelerated my gynecomastia.

Best use of Psa to guide intermittent hormone therapy
presently on
relugolix
+ Darolutamide for local reccurrence and will go off these drugs if Psa is less than .65 three months ago tested and go back on when Psa reaches 3-5.. Seems it will be about 6months and hopefully 6 months off, Tentative protocol so far. Input from all and for all welcomed.

sudden stop in PSA decline
— I’d not yet taken my daily
relugolix
that morning before the PSA draw …
could this have been a factor?

Add Nubeqa to Orgovyx?
I have started ADT with Orgovyx (
relugolix
) and want to add an ARI. The urologist wants to use the ARI Erleada (apalutamide). I want Nubeqa (darolutamide) as it does not cross the blood-brain barrier, because in past 4 years I have had 3 un-diagnosable seizures.

Orgyvux(relugolix) and Zytiga(abiraterone)
I have a question from one of my support group members. They are currently on Orgyvux. Doc wants to add Zytiga to their treatment. Will the ADT side effects be the same with the addition of Zytiga, or will they become worse? Seems like the side effects would be worse, if T is driven to a lower level

Relugolix/Orgovyx with pelvic radiation?
Has anyone had
Relugolix
in lieu of Lupron with pelvic radiation? I like the idea of faster testosterone recovery after finishing
Relugolix
in comparison to Lupron. If you have used
Relugolix
with pelvic radiation what is the course of treatment?

Recently diagnosed- Stage 4 at 45 yrs old.
MSK doc recommends Transitioning to the pill form
Relugolix
next week along with starting darolutamide. PSA last week is already down to 0.7. Was Weighing up options to go ahead with standard of care- ADT and chemo OR do one of the Pluvicto (lutecium Lu 177) clinical trials at MSK in NYC.

Starting relugolix / Orgovyx
My healthcare provider indicated they wouldn't prescribe Orgovyx and to use Lupron instead. Has anyone dealt with this? Are there ways to get the meds cheaper from Canada or elsewhere? Any insight would be great. My rationale is that Orgovyx may have fewer side effects, and concerned as I still go

Cabazitaxel and estrogen patch
My brother has CRPC and is receiving Cabazitaxel+
Relugolix
. Denosumab and Zoledronic acid don't work for him. I suggested an Estrogen patch to both maintain bone density and ameliorate hot flashes. His oncologist said that an Estrogen patch would interfere with the Cabazitaxel.

agonist versus antagonist issue
With the evidence on cardio and other risks reduced with using an antagonist such as degarelix or
relugolix
what’s the view on the benefits of doing this when having already started in the RT plus goserelin regime with G9 locally contained (as far as we know!)

Length of Treatment for Orgovyx (Relugolix) versus Lupron and other Longer Acting ADT drugs as Adjuvant to RT or Used for IADT?
I'm curious if anyone has had any discussion with their MO or Radiation Oncologist about having to take a longer course of Orgovyx compared to Lupron or other longer acting ADT drugs because Testosterone comes back so much quicker on Orgovyx? It would seem to me, 6 months of Orgovyx is like the equivalent
