was next, it meant fewer needles so of course, I went for it as soon as it came on the market.

Which med???
Am currently on
Rebif
. Has been my med since diagnosis 8 years ago. After discussion today with my new neurologist, will most likely be changing. What are your experiences with Ocrecus, Tysabri, Tecfidera, or Gilenya?? I think I am leading toward Tecfidera but still researching and contemplating

Topsy-turvy
I was on
Rebif
, initially. My job went for a toss. Later I was on multivitamins, only. Now, I'm an SPMS patient. I'm eagerly waiting for a breakthrough in MS. I was suggested by many to try Allopathy, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Ayurveda and all.

Making a choice, which Disease Modifying Therapy?
Having said that, I spent a month getting used to
Rebif
, I did not, it still hurt so I went back to my every other day injection until a tablet became available. So give any medicine a chance and do not expect to be cured in a month.

Rebif and liver problems?!
I started
Rebif
shortly after my diagnosis, and had side effects during the whole tri pack. I kept my neurologist informed of all my side effects including headache, intense stomach pains and severe itching.

Ok I am Done!
I cant keep taking these
rebif
injections— I see my neurologist on tues for a check up. (Not the Ms specialist- I am waiting for the referral) I don’t feel like they’re working for One and two— I feel awful EVERYTIME for 12-24 hours.

Update
So here is my update, starting my next month of
Rebif
- side effects are getting better. Mainly joint stiffness and headaches the 24 hours after, not so much flu-ish anymore.

7 weeks on Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)
Other interactions include alcohol, narcotic medications (Ultram, Morphine, Percocet, Tramadol, Duragesic Patch or Codeine), steroids, and interferon (Beta Seron, Avonex or
Rebif
). “LDN should probably not be taken during pregnancy.

it has come to my attention
I changed once to interferon beta 1a (
Rebif
) but it hurt too much so I went back to 1b, Betaseron, but I did not stop. Disease Modifying Therapy (DMT) will not cure me but it will at least slow ms down a little.

Really???
Some of those medicines come in pill form: Tecfidera and Gilenya...but many are infusions, meaning given through an IV: Ocrevus,
Rebif
. There is huge variety of medications that can help a person. Whichever one would suit you your neurologist will check with you first to see which you prefer.
