It’s important to talk to your neurologist about this especially since you most likely have to switch DMT.

Hi ya Muchomonty how are you today? 😊

Sorry to hear about the liver enzymes, and changing your DMT. 😔 Like Royjr said tho, it' deffenitly a conversation to have with your Neuro. ☺

And definitely check out what starlight5 gave you. It will help you see what' out there, and help you make decisions. I hope anyway.☺😀😅

Hi Jes, and thanks for the encouragement. Ive checked out the link and its good info. Though it looks like many dmts raise the enzymes.. :( will wait and see what the doc says on Wednesday.

Muchomonty, it's Fancy1959. Hello and welcome to our awesome chat room. You have found a safe place to come and ask questions, voice concerns, or simply speak to others to truly understand what you are going through. Now having said that first and foremost we are not doctors so we try not to offer medical advice. What would you offer are commonly shared experiences were you can learn about experiences you might be having because of what we've already experienced. To ask what your next best course of action is if your rebif is not working well with you it's a question you need to ask you your neurologist. Do not delay the asking if your liver enzymes are increasing. Your liver is the third most important organ in your body and it's nothing to mess around with. Keep track of your symptoms and call and get in to see your neurologist as soon as possible. There are tons of other EMTs out there so certainly one can be found that will work with you better than the rebif. Until we get to speak again please take care and remember that together we are stronger! Fancy.

Welcome! I hope you get some clear direction with your DMT choice. There are so many more now to choose from, and though that can be overwhelming, it also means it’s likely we can find one that works well and one we can tolerate well.

I hope you’ll come back and let us know what you choose and how you’re doing. You’ll find lots of support here as you work through it all.
