rasagiline
0.75 mg Currently taking rasagaline 1mg Is anyone taking something close to this combination?

B1/Thiamin - What's the situation?
At present I'm on 3 x 100/25 Madopar pd and 1mg
Rasagiline
. I often don't take the full dose of Madopar as I can usually get by on 1 or 2 tablets pd depending on what I'm doing. My symptoms are a left side tremor and bradykinesia (stiffness) which causes a bit of a gait issue..

ANYONE IN THIS TRIAL: Prothena PASADENA Phase 2 trial? Love to hear what you think - some say most promising PD trial.
They can be on a monoamine oxidase-B inhibitor such as
rasagiline
(azilect) or selegiline. For the first year, one-third of the cohort will receive placebo and one-third a low dose of antibody, 1,500 mg.

Did anyone start treatment taking a dopamine agonist?
I was diagnosed in March with PD at age 48, and at that time my doctor prescribed
Rasagiline
. I have noticed no symptom improvements after 10 weeks taking it, but in fairness the doctor said only some patients will notice any minor symptom relief.

PD non-motor symptoms
Currently taking
rasagiline
& Rytary. Now and before my diagnosis I’ve experienced a feeling of nervousness, like having too much caffeine (which I have stopped using).

Restless arms
Rasagiline
1mg. I've been taking 200mg daily tramadol for back pain but tried leaving it out because of constipation. Developed severe akathesia of my arms at night. I suppose it serves me right for taking tramadol. Maybe if I stick it out I'll recover. But its also dopamine related.

Safe to take Inosine with Rasagiline?
I was taking Inosine for 8 months in an attempt to slow progression of my PD. However I started Azilect 6 weeks ago and stopped all supplements at that time in case of adverse interactions. I want to resume Inosine but does any one take both or no why I shouldn't?

Rasagiline, azlect
But I am taking
rasagiline
as my dr says it protects my dopamine. Any opinions about that? I’m also taking SAMe for ease in joints and some macuna powder in my breakfast foods. Thanks, janet

My hubby is in early stage PD and been taking
rasagiline
since dx’d 6 was ago. His main symptom is a right hand tremor. It seems to be getting worse. He’s also on the Dr Phillipsons supplement protocol along with dietary changes. Not sure what to do next. Would appreciate suggestions.

When to start Madopar/LDopa?
I was dx just under two years ago (age 54) and have been on
Rasagiline
(Azilect) since. It doesn’t have a noticeable effect but there is a hope it might be beneficial in slowing progression... I have some bradykinesia and a L side tremor but I’m ok and feel generally well.

Rasagiline (Azilect) costing more in 2018
Just got a notice from Humana, my husband’s drug plan, that the generic
rasagiline
is moving to a higher pricing tier in 2018! Why would they do this? And does it seem to delay the progression of Parkinson’s like first hoped, or does it help much? He is considering dropping it.

Going off Rasagiline
I'll be seen my neurologist in a couple of weeks, but meanwhile gradually started reducing
Rasagiline
and seem to feel better in that regard. I am prone to having excess histamine and wonder if
Rasagiline
inhibits histamine degrading enzymes (DAO and HNMT) which I have genetic glitches with.

Early treatment: levodopa vs. MAOI
MAOI treatment (
rasagiline
) for a friend (52 years old) just diagnosed. Symptoms are mild but interfere a bit with daily living: lack of dexterity in dominant hand, apathy.
