A (failed?) attempt to stop thyroid medicines.
Hi, everyone. Sorry for the long post... I've been on thyroid hormone replacement since almost 4 years. I started euthyrox on the advice of my gp when my TSH was 2.89 (0.27-4.20). My antibodies were also slightly elevated (TPO: 112 [0-34]) and they remain on this range until today. Back then I was

Do CRPC cancer cells always or usually act different then CSPC cancer cells, or do they sometimes act similar to CRPC?
If someone is castration sensitive (on ADT pause) and their psa is 40 (for example), and they show very little suspected cancer (5mm spot for example) on a PSMA PET scan or an Axumin scan, then is it likely that castration resistant cancer show very little (5mm), as well, on a PSMA PET or Axumin scan

So recurrent after radiation and 2 years ADT. PSA pretty close to 3 by now. Bone and CT scan done because my cheap insurance company denied the Pylarify until after the other 2. I don't mind the extra contrasts, barium or whatever hell else they gave me. I keep asking is it nuclear. Only the bone scan

Rising PSA after radiation and ADT
Hi All, I was diagnosed with PCa in April 2022 (Gleason 3+4). My PSA was 28. I was given a 3 month shot of lupron in June 2022. In August I had 20 sessions of IGRT - Image guided radiation therapy. These are PSA levels: 0.56 (Sept 2, 2022) 1.6 (Dec 27, 2022) 5.3 (Feb 14, 2023) Should I be concerned

Treatment on symptoms vs blood results
Hi all. I’m new to this group and would love feedback from people with similar experiences. My TSH level has been slightly raised since 2012 (5.0) and had been experiencing fatigue and sleep issues but my doctor said I didn’t need hormone treatment. I immigrated in 2017 and obviously stress and age

bone balance
has anyone heard of bonebalance and have any feedback on this product? I’ve just started using it for bone health. It’s in powder form and you add it to drinks yogurts etc. it would good to know if it’s helped anyone with their bone health. I’ve developed osteopenia due to ADT.

***Numb Ankles***
Good morning Brothers recently my ankles have been developing numbness and tingling. I know it's probably Neoupopthy or a form of it most likely from ADT for five years now. I'm sure some of you are experiencing this new twist to our APC . I take an over the counter supplement that's specifically for

Orgovyx vs. Lupron, (with Enzalutimide or Abiraterone).
Hello all - I was hoping someone has some insight for me. I just started ADT which consisted of a loading dose made up of 2 shots of Firmagon in the stomach. While the shots did not hurt much, it was about 8 hours later that experienced a lot of pain at the injection sites. Today, which is 9 days after

IPP Inflatable Penile Implant after PCa Treatment; When to Move on Implant Surgery
Well, as with all things in life, hindsight is 20-20. So it is with my experience with my IPP (inflatable penile prosthesis) after 2 1/2 years of PCa treatment. I was operated on in June, 2020, had IMRT RT Radiation treatment ending May, 2021 and finished a total of 21 months on ADT this past December

Strange results when adding NDT to Thyroid glandular
I’ve been using 90mg (as 30mg 3x per day before meals) of a thyroid glandular for about a year (after slowly titrating up) and my blood results seemed ok 7/06/2022 TSH 0.005 (0.27 - 4.2) T4 15.2 (12 - 22) 32% T3 5.89 (3.1 - 6.8) 75.4% I also have below range cortisol all day and take an adrenal

Slow rising PSA. Wait and watch?
Hello everyone My father has been on ADT since two years (Zytiga and Lupron). His PSA fell from 500 at diagnosis to 0.41 last September. Since then it has slowly been creeping up. In 5 months it has risen to 0.74. I have got his PSA tested every month so this is not a random jump but a slow increase

T2 supplementation
Hi all, I've seen T2 supplementation is now a thing and some thyroid patients in America have 3 hormone treatment T4, T3 and T2. Does anyone have any information on T2 and if it is necessary if you've had a thyroidectomy? Many thanks

Tomotherapy side effects?
Hello, we saw a RO today and based on the 2nd opinion here in AZ, and his interpretation of his PSMA scan; my husband decided to start Radiation via TomoTherapy. Have any of you experienced this; IMRT (targeted ) using CT and targeted to just tumors! Our understanding is that he would have better outcome

evolutionary theory for Pca resistance
thought there was some discussion of adapting evolutionary theory to help postpone resistance to ADT; perhaps some using some form of it anyone know about this or who has had experience with it? https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-017-01968-5
